these loosers have nothing better to do than to annoy people. lucky I wasn't home.  I reported the number on the do not call list.  thats what I do with every number that is a telemarketer.  Each time they cll, I just keep reporting it and I also tell them to take me off or I'll sue them.  That unusally gets their attention if you get to speak with someone. I annoy them just like they annoy me. what is good for the goat is good for the gander, right?

Got a call from 000 000 0000 like everyone else here. It left a message for lowering credit card rate and is a final warning ( for which they have given me many, many final warnings). Never says which company or whose credit card. I have pressed #3 as an option for no further reminders, but the SOB's call anyhow, and a lot. I called the # back and ended up with Bell Canada, which is our phone company, but not the people who made the call. I asked if they could put a trace on and they said "no". This is a telemarketing ploy where the receiver of the call can't identify who really is calling. This also happens to be against the law, as telemarketers are supposed to have a # to identify when they call. I am tired of the whole thing with telemarketers, but worse is when they are breaking laws and we can't call them back to have our names removed. Some telemarketing companies use other #s like 123456789 or all 9's. The problem is this is illegal, but what in the hell can we do to bust their a**es?

I recieved a call today on my cell from the number 0000000000??? This was not the first time, but it had been about 3 or 4 months since I had recieved a call from this odd number. Anyways, I decided to answer and said, hello?? hello? hello? and on the third hello a pre-recorded message come on asking me to call some odd collection agency, which I have never heard of! They did not leave a number to call back so I don't know what to do. I know that I have no reason for a collection agency of any sort to be calling me, but what's up with the odd number??? Anyone know what I should do?????

I get calls from the 000-000-0000 number but I don't answer I had gotten an email saying they could charge your bill if you answer.  I have also been getting calls from a weird number 1410882.  The phone company (verizon) only answer was to change my number.  Not helpful!

Received this call today, someone asked to confirm my home address and said he was calling for Bell. I phoned Bell to report it but they told me they can't do nothing and I have to call the police, so I did.

I recieved two of the (000)000-0000 calls today. The first time my mom answered the person asked for me by name and thinking it was someone I knew my mom handed the phone to me. When I took the phone from her they simply hung up. Then later on tonight right before 9pm they called again, this time no one else was home but me. There is no caller id box on the phone downstairs and thats the phone I was closest to so I ansered it. The person on the other end said nothing at all.  It's starting to piss me off because at first I thought it might be someone I knew just staying quiet on the other end, but when they call it just says blocked call. This isn't the first time I've seen that number on my phone though and they always stay silent on the other end. It's kind of creepy and I wish there was something that I could do to stop these calls.

The calls started last night and continued all day today.  They called 8 different times today and I actually answered a few of the times.  However, when I did answer, they just hung up.  If it is a telemarketer, why would they hang up??  What the hell do they want, if it's not to get me to answer the damn phone??  It's really annoying and I'm calling the phone company tomorrow...not that they'll be able to do anything.

My cell phone has been ringing off the hook, for over 2 hours straight and the number calling is 214-969-5489. I searched the number and got a website with over 10 pages of other people saying it is a scam. The calls stop and then my work phone rings and it is 000-000-0000. I didn't answer and right after that the work phone rings again and it comes up as ILD COMM 214-969-5489. Somehow these two numbers are connected and it sounds very suspicious.

Mine was from a guy running for state senate, Mark Leno.  I was gonna vote for him.  I called his campaign center and verified that they were making calls.  I told them that I thought it was an ugly thing to.

I've been getting the all zero number too, sometimes a couple times a day, etc.  But after reading some of these messages, it got me thinking about why the number 000-000-0000?  The fellow who works for a 'legit' travel agency explained they block their number when calling to ask YOU if you were in China and booked a $5000 flight to East Bebbipville.  Even that sounds like a scam.  He's going to ask for your Credit Card number for verification, or ask for the 3 digits on the back of it? A VERY dangerous thing to say 'yes' to!

And the woman who got the calls claiming to be GMAC and wanted her to pay a bill by phone.  She was smart to call GMAC.

And all the other calls that were picked up: Obama for Prez, Chinton for Prez, a survey for this and that, a cruise to Nassau or Bahamas... And it's also BlockBuster or some collection agency.  If the caller is blocking the number they're calling from, DOES the all-zero number come up all the time? And if so, why would the prez candidates use it? Or a legitimate survey? And why am I also getting the same number of calls from 1-999-999-9999?
