I've gotten a few calls from this number. I decided to answer it and it was just me echoed. everything i said was repeated?!! it's weird!!!!!!!!!

it is a computer generated call.  In this case it happened to be my friend using his computer to call me.

I just received a call from that #, didn't pick up because it was weird but then found out that it was a friend of mine calling from Skype!

This number calls repeatedly; there is silence on the other end of the line -  no one says hello, and there are no noises indicating that it's a fax.  This is very obviously a prank, but a difficult one to trace.  I suggest that everyone who has received calls from this number report it to the police - none of the main telephone service providers will (or can) do anything to block it.

I'm surprised that your cell phone provider was able to block the number.  Bell Canada will not (or cannot) do the same for a landline.  Was there anything that you had to do in order to get them to block it for you?

its probably skype or google voice, they display strang numbers

its a skype -- someone using a skype computer account to call - at least that was my experience.  Agree, its strange to see that set of numbers and it feels like something sinister, but perhaps its just a skype code-

They called me this morning demanding to know who I was, and I demanded to know who they were because it was barley sunrise. I got cross with them, as I usually am when someone wakes me up before dawn, and told them they had the wrong number and to not call back.  It is a prank line for sure. Idiots... Anyone send this information over to the police? Maybe they can be tracked down.

I just deleted my number from skype...it is not worth being hassled by weirdos.

it called me. i answered, said hello, & they just breathed for 10 seconds then hung up .

Hard to ignore it when it rings at 5 am in the morning.

that number wont stop calling my phone. its getting on my nerves. when I finally did answer they said hey I havent talked to you in a long time how are you. I have a quick question. what bra size do you wear? im sorta freaked out. who the hell is this? its been going on all week!

I had a 'friend' using that #. after giving me 2 other phone #s he called me with this one.

I just got a call from 0000123456. It was an automated message that said, "Your computer has been infected with a virus. Go to www.sosgp.com now to download the replacement software." I haven't researched the software yet.

We have gotten multiple calls from this # today. They don't leave a message on our answering machine. We're sick and tired of these calls and want the calls to stop. We tried to call the # back twice but it was'nt possible.

I didn't pick up the phone either because of the weird number. They just called me again, so far it's averaging once a day.

Friday I got a call from an Indian man with a thick accent. He said he was from the US Gov Grant Dept. Said I was able to receive a $5200 gov grant. At first I got excited then realized it had to be bs. I was bored so I decided to play along. He wanted me to go to western union and make a security deposit of $312. I said ok. He told me to call him when I was outside of the place before I went in so he could give me more information about the deposit. He also told me not to tell anyone because my grant money would be taxed like 25%. I never called back. He called me back within an hour and asked me when the deposit was going to be made. I told him that I had less money than I thought and would not be able to do it until monday. Sure enough he called back on monday, but from 000-012-3456. I'm just going to lead him on for a bit more because he keeps getting frustrated with my questions and honestly I find it hilarious.

I got a LEGITIMATE call from that number...I didn't answer because it was a wierd number but the vendor followed up with an email so I suppose it's ok!
