it happens when a buddy on your buddy list types your cell phone number in and it will send to your cell phone

who's the calerr or texts

My daughter receives quite a few messages from this number 0000265060 on our verizon account.  I know it is being sent by one of her friends from a website. I wouldn't be surprises if it is from a buddy list on aim, which is the main "chat" space my daughter uses daily. I pay $5.00 extra to for parental controls on my daughter's account. I do not feel that I should have to pay extra to block features but in the end, the $5.00 is well worth the savings of unexpected "charges."  

If you have Verizon set up your account online www.verizonwireless.com and you will learn how to navigate to your usuage and see who is texting & being called.  If you need help on the site you can chat live with someone or simply call verizon for help. Also, you can go into a Verizon store for help with this if you are technologically impaired ;).

What I love about the parental control is you can:
*set time limits for incoming & outgoing calls & messages, if someone tries to call or text it will not go through,
*have a trusted number that can be used anytime of day/night (mom or dad) and 911 is always available,
*You can block a web address or domain (yahoo, aol, etc) from sending messages/texts.

Check it out. I would like to think that other phone companies offer the same services for a fee too.

I just spoke with Verizon, and they told me this number is related to AIM and doesn't have any charge associated with it.  I just need to find out who the AIM user on the other end is now.....

Offspring has that one too a lot.  Sender # has been blocked through regular phone so uses AIM to correspond without anyone tracking it.  Think AIM may have same number; don't know if all different.  Annoying feature.

Did you end up finding out who the AIM is or how to do that??

I believe that it is a generic number for AIM. We also have blocked certain #'s and this is a way to get around the blocks.

person sending messages to husbands cell phone. I believe I know who it is.  She better BACKOFF!!

What I'm seeing are the numbers coming from 0000265060 are from sex chats.  I'm not kidding.

It could be from any user on AIM - I send messages from my computer to my husband all the time - and thats the number it shows up as.

These numbers come up in my phone bill
0000265060 and 0000006245

I received a string of IM's from this phone number on Wednesday, May 28th at approx. 2pm PST - I would like to locate who this originated from.
