Answered call, met with ringing phone, scouser said hello then hung up. Got this strange number from 1471.

..this number has rang several times in the last two days , its quiet for a sec then links u to a calling centre or sumthn??prob abroad, who knows. They cant speak english very well and even though i said no not interested he continued his sales patter.
Debt consoladation or sumthnn on those lines i think he said. More like a scam.
Anyway they are starting to get on my tits. How the hell do u stop these idiots from calling you?

ive just recieved a call from these people asking for my girlfriend, i said she was in work the guy on the phone asked when will she be home, i asked if i could take a message and what was the perpose of the call and all he said was thanks i will try later! what the f**k????

i have had umpteen calls from this number. Its getting to a stage where its up to 20 calls per day. I asked the guy (Asian) for there companies phone number, and he said it was against company policy to give it out. Wan*er. I told him what I thought of him and he said bye darling. On the wind up as I'm male and s was he. I've spoken to several of them and they have all been very arrogant and cheeky.

We need to find a way to stop them. Its harrasment.#

I have the same problem as Paul where I'm getting a call every half hour (which I am ignoring) I've spoken twice now and they don't seem to understand that I don't have a debt problem so why do I want to speak to them? Is there no such words as 'no thankyou' in Asian/Indian (whatever it is)?

I've just had four calls from this number in the space of about forty minutes. I say 'hello' and there is silence for a while and then it connects. I've started just hanging up as soon as I get the silence as if it was someone else they would answer straight away.
