This number called twice today, each time nobody spoke. Who is it ? Why are they calling?

This number called constantly all day. Didn't answer but they didn't leave a message. a few minutes ago decided to answer, but no-one spoke.

Got another of these calls last night.  After a while an Asian man asked if I was prepared to take part in a survey (!)  I said no and hung up.  But he knew my name !!!!!
How come ?

And why have I had a considerable increase in these calls from lots of different sources in the last 4 months after having hardly any in the past years ?

These people called twice yesterday but the line just went dead.  I have received another call today and I waited until some one spoke. Simon (not the kind of name that went with the accent) asked to speak to me and when I asked "who's calling please" he ignored my question and carried on speaking so I asked again.  At this pont he was very rude and hung up.............

Just had 9 more calls since Tuesday 9th Oct.  Again  no-one spoke. So now just ignore the number.  Also foreign gentleman keeps phoning to speak with a Mrs Latly, but this number is with held., plus never heard of Mrs Latly.

Just received phone call from 00 . Like all the other calls nobody spoke to me , they hung up after three seconds. Is there anyone out there who can solve this phone PESTS!!!!!!      PLEASE!!!!!!!M

heaps of missed calls from this number, at least 2 a day this week.  Answered one they hung up, another time a voice asked for some one by another name. Who are these people?

They called last night and woke me up but it was slient then hung up from 0010191059, okay so they called just now again, and are slient.

what on earth is this rubbish?
i just randomly googled the number because when i enter from a nother phone it doesnt exist.
and got to this website where people recently had calls like this as well.

if anyone knows what it is let me know please.

Received about 11 calls from this number over the last five days, all silent before they hang up. On call back I am informed the number does not exist, but twice I did get a reply on call back by a recorded unknown English femail voice who said, "This number is not excepting calls, please hang up.......Thank you".  As I am not a B.T customer they will not listen to a complaint made by me. I would have thought that some B.T customers might have complained, if this is so why can't they shut these rogue numbers down?

i get calls day and night, from this number,who is it.

Someone complain because I am fed u of this I get called several times it gets me so angry grrr

This b****y number keeps calling infact they were trying as I wrote this message. It should be made illegal but that wont happen.

I now monitor all calls through my answer machine.  This number rings off as soon as the answer machine kicks in.  I guess it is another cold caller. This one always rings at lunchtime.  If I find out which UK company passed on my number I will have strong words with them !!!!!!!

Please make these calls illegal and prosecute the morons responsible.

Apparently it's difficult to stop calls from outside the UK. The best you can do is get on to your service provider (i.e. the people you pay for you phone service) and inform them. Otherwise - register with the Telephone Preference Service. http://www.tpsonline.org.uk/tps/index.html 
There is more advice there. For PPI texts get on to The Information Commissioner's office 01625 545 745 and complain. They can dish out hefty fines. Tony

I have sent a complaint to talktalk. Probably nothing will get done as they wish to charge to stop these calls.

Service providers? Not sure any of them know what the first word means!

Getting calls from them about 4 to 5 times a day.  Driving me nuts. Have had to put my phone on "silent". No remedy offered from Talk Talk - surprise surprise  :-(

I have just received yet another call from this number. That is the 8th time  in less than 24 hrs!I Am registered with tps so should not be getting through. Nobody speaks which is really frustrating

Constantly calling but as I have caller-display I do not answer, leaving it for the answer machine. However as one call ends, a witheld number rings....10-12 a day. Very annoying as I am listed with the TPS.
