Scam call about problems with my computer, found by their IT Cenre.

Today I received a "silent"  call from this number.  A long pause, followed by a recorded voice saying, "Goodbye".

Lady asking me to go  to computer and would take no for an answer called 4 times today and try to setup a better for her to call me back...claim my computer would crash if I didn't do what she wanted to.do

If you do not speak to my answering machine then you get barred.

Keep calling and not saying anything

Just say you have an Apple IPad and not a PC so no Microsoft!!!

This is a call centre in India. They do different kinds of calls. Today it was a "Lifestyle Survey"  and when pressed they revealed that their sponsors were EDF, SSE, O2, Vodophone etc - or so they claimed! Best to ignore all they say - certainly don't believe any of it.

Man said his name was Eric (Indian accent), claimed to be from Microsoft. Was insistent I sit in front of computer, switch it on, open internet browser. Started reading out a web address (www.infofiff….) he was reading it out in phonetic alphabet but towards the end started using profanities I must of sounded dis-interested. Of course I was googling the phone number, he proceeded to hang up after he became abusive. Gives a bad name to Microsoft & India that they are not seen to be targeting these scammers.

Received a silent call from this number today at 10.27.  

This site is a pain. It never gives up. Apart from silences it also asks for people who don't exist here. Then followed by an "unavailable" contact also asking for a person that doesn't exist.  Too sophisticated for a prank.  A bit dicey. Don't answer.

Received a call from this number at 7:38 this morning.  Furious.  Didn't answer.

when they call for something with your computer i always say that i wanna mary the person and i'm in love with her, this flips the conversation completely around.. You have to try this..

These inconsiderate //£;&()/&;(! Called me at 7:30am this morning. I raced to the phone because a call at that time of the day usually means significant news. I missed the call. Did 1471 and heard the first digits were 001. My dad lives in the US so I called the number back right away.

Why can't we stop these spammers from causing so much upset!!!

Phone rings, I pick up , say nothing, voice says Hello, Indian accent from bumbay, I put phone down. Since then I have had that number call many times, absolute nightmare all times day and evening. I hardly ever phone, wait to check number and if I need to I ring back.

Called at 7.47am today who needs an alarm. BT must be able to bar these people

Another call from 'Microsoft' about my computer. Depending on how much or little time I have I treat these calls different ways. If no time I am EXTREMELY rude and profane, if a little time I goad them asking them if their mother is proud of the way they earn their living - by trying to scam hard working innocent people. If they don't ring off then, which they almost invariably do, I tell them that their mother told me in bed that she is very proud of them!! If I have lots of time I string them along as long as possible before reverting to one of the above. It is amazing how you feel after the call. When I used to put the phone down I felt angry and upset that my privacy had been invaded. Now I feel almost euphoric that I have upset them!!!! Try it!

Called and I didn't pick up with no caller id name and a bogus looking phone number. After reading all these posts I am grateful that I did not pick up. Maybe they will leave me alone. These companies are trash. Just trash.
