00111111

I have been getting calls from +111111 when i have my landline diverted to my mobile or 00111111 if i'm in the office, mostly I let it ring out but when I have answered it there is no one there.

This has been happening for 3-4 weeks.

It's good to know that i'm not the only one!

Who is this and why are they calling numerous times daily, they don't say anything when i answer they are very annoying

I have had this same number phoning me numerous times over the past couple of weeks...I refuse to answer the phone to it but am unable to cancel the call until the phone rings out. The last call being about 5 mins ago I live in Ireland and have contacted Eircom about it and they gave me the number for the malicious calls centre.... They are open 8.30 am- 5.00 pm maybe if we all report this to them we can get something done to stop them calling.....the number is 1800 689689.

i got 3 calls from this number picked up but theres silence then a beep and all i hear is Goodbye.....its like they recorded me or something and im freaked out :(:(:(

I rang the malicious call centre and they told me that it is a computer generated call from India / Srilanka or somewhere in that region and the best thing is not to answer any calls from that number...that may deter them from calling you again.
It's definitely someone trying to gain access to your computer so whatever you do DO NOT give them any information or allow them access to your computer

got a call from this number, base on what every is saying, it's a scam try blocking the number, these day if i dont reconize the number i dont answer it, as it cost me my time which they are not paying me for

I got a call from this number. 3 minutes later a private number rang and i answered this was the conversation;
"Hello?"
"Hello miss i am from Microsoft Offices. Are you parents home?"
"Yeah but they cant right now."
"Miss i presume you have computer?"
(stupidly i replied) "No what is this "computer" thing you speak off?" HAHA
"Miss do not lie, i see all your accounts right now."
"[***] offffff."
"I will not miss. Please locate your parents."
*hangs up*
This really freaked me out.

why cant these numbers be traced and prosecuted

You must give router details, ip address, bank account and sortcode, or your computer may get a virus.

oh okay il do that the next time u call, would u like to know my next of kin also?

I recieve calls from this number every couple of days, can I get it stopped?

I have been recieving calls from this number 00111111 shortly after joining the 3 Network. These calls are always from Indian people asking for details of my computer which has nothing to do with them and being that I myself am extremely well educated with computers I know better than to trust them or give them ANY info whatsoever. You are also advised not to spend longer than 30 seconds on the phone with them or they could breach your system using the phone line if your broadband is coupled with your telephone service presumign that they are not as dumb as they appear.  

Here is what I have discovered so far, you do the math.

I joined the 3 network on December 2nd. 4 days later I get calls from this number claiming to be from the 3 network, asking me to help them eliminate corrupted files from my computer. the 3 Network's customer services section is based guess where? INDIA!

So the math to me tells me, that certain customer service employees of the 3 netowrk may be involved in collecting personal information on their customers and are using this to commit fraudulent attempts to gain access to customers computers and  / or information, perhaps so that they can get at bank account details, credit card info etc.  

If this is true, then the 3 Network are in breach of the Data Protection Act by allowing customer personal information to fall into the hands of amateur scammers.

REMEMBER 3 NEVER calls its customers requesting details of IP address or computer details or any other private information. 3 guards its customers' personal details and does not share these details with third parties. Third parties can obtain your details in a number of ways. For instance, your details may be obtained through using other services they offer such as purchasing ringtones or on entry into a quiz or promotion. When your details are obtained it is a legal requirement that you are given the opportunity to opt out of receiving communications. Any subsequent communications should include contact information and details on how to opt out.

REPORT UNSOLICITED CALLS / SPAM

Firstly contact us on 1913 to report the incident – keep a record of the number and the time the call was made. We will investigate and alert the Data Protection Commissioners (DPC) office.

Me too (Ireland) getting quite a few calls, first one hung up, second time there was a Pakastani male wanting to know who he was talking to! I refused to tell him and then he asked if he was talking to MS R, crazy how he got my name as I'm ex directory. When I asked him who he was he demanded to know if I had a PC in the house, he was quite aggressive when I wouldn't give out any info, I ended the call. Had more calls but when my BF answers they hang up.

had 2 calls from this number today. did not answer. call disconected when answerphone kicked in. so glad i didnt answer. figured it was a nuisance call.

I just received 2 calls today from this number .. I picked up the phone, however, they immediately hung up .. do you think that something happen to me now?

I just received more than 10 missed calls from this number. They called me 7am (Manhattan, NY) on my mobile.

Hy, I just had a call from this number +111111 I didn't answer. I'm from Hungary, and I don't know what they want from me, I don't even have own computer! I had a call a few days before from number +88888888 what is it?? Can anybody say...?
