Ireland. Have been receiving numerous nuisance calls from various numbers, often weird obviously fake ones with the 001 American code. This time I missed the call, but I received a call from 001116 earlier the same day.

Keep getting calls from 001123 and it never has anyone there.  What could be in it for them?

I have just received a call from this number - anyone know who they are? The caller said a few garbled words before ending the call. Strange number...

person with foreign dialect rang me claiming to be from Microsoft said my computer sent out messages to them. When I challenged this said did I reply to an update I replied no I do not send reports to microsoft. At which point he got annoyed and told me to "go f--k myself and slammed the phone down. Another scam to gain access to your computer!!!!

Its a scam, I've had this call a dozen times, they can sound very plausible.
DON'T LET THEM ANYWHERE NEAR YOUR COMPUTER!

Had two calls from this number now.  From background noise would appear to be a call centre type of operation with Indian sub-continent dialect.  Tried to gain access to my computer, so I just put the phone down and let them pay for the 30 minute call (if they do).

I received a call from this number on Saturday 23rd June at 9.36pm, it was a foriegn gentleman, but Icouldn't hear, what he was saying, lots of noise in the background, but I'm sure he said , something to do with my computer. Could you look into this for me, I'm calling my Telephone Company, in the morning, to see what they know

which country are these numbers and how can anyone call this number ... this is sometimes done through a software program ... someone I can always be called by 001,123 and there are crazy ... can anyone help?

Asked a lot of questions e.g what phone contract I was on ? What energy company I'm with ? Didn't give any personal details e.g household annual Income !

0011230001232 anyone know what this number is and where from? is it blocked? I could hear alot of people in the background but no one, but they sounded like they were from New Zealand like me. (the people talking in the background

0011230001232. Asking for directors of company to talk to them. Its a call centre somewhere. Its now blocked on our telephone system . we just hang up on them .

I had a call today from number 0011230001232 They asked for a director of our company that hasn't worked here for about 5 years. I kept asking what is the was about for which they said it was personal. I kept asking they hung up. There was a lot of talking in the back ground. I asked if they were at a call centre, they said no. Hung up.

I suspect this is a scam.

call from 001 123 456 789. showed on my phone, another scam!.

Called from 0011230001232 - to a Greek company. Trying to get a hold of a director of the company. But they got the name wrong(one hint). They reached the accountant and hung up when they could not get who they wanted..
(this in January 2015)
Reminds me of a phishing scam.
