Vile scammers, claiming to be from nortons.  Nortons do not ring people. Dom't give them remote access to your pc or be caught by them.

Receiving frequent calls, know it's rubbish but don't know how to stop it.

Phone call, no message left.

These scumbags keep ringing my.number. Constantly. I have complained to TPS. I'm ex directory. They are looking into it. Despite being ex directory. They still manage to get your number. When they buy lists from.BT.   It rather defeats the object of going ex directory

Beware call blocker. Actually charges £45. To block calls.   This isn't a free service.

Said he was from windows monitoring service and that my pc had been accessed. Told him no such thing and he knew it. He hung up. Scam to get on your computer

No answer or sound at all on other end of phone. Wish I'd not even picked it up - best to let ansaphone take it.

Rang 3 times yesterday - didn't pick up as it  is obviously not a legitimate number. We belong to TPS & pay Virgin for their block in service. Both a waste of time. Best just to let calls go straight to voicemail. Yesterday I had calls from 5 of these scumbags - about time something was done about it.

Got a call today from this number.   The caller claimed to be calling from "BT internet" to let me know that I was receiving a lot of spam mail (I'm not) and that my email had been accessed.   I told him I would be reporting his call to BT and he promptly hung up.

called 3 times this morning. pick up and just a computer voice saying goodbye, then they hang up. very annoying

Thick foreign accent. Said his name was Alex (as if!) and that I was having problems with my windows. Told him that I already had double glazing 😂 and to p155 off!

same as above very indian sounding prat called alex, told him he was a stupid scamming [***] and to pass off.

Scammer claiming to be from Nortons.  He said his name was Jim Smith.  I could hardly understand what he was saying and told him so.  He rang off.

Phone rang a couple of times then stopped

Claimed to be from Norton, told him there was a lot of noise on the line and he hung up.

Call at 09.30GMT to my ex-directory number. Usual rubbish about being form BT Broadband (Indian subcontintet accent).  I have set up BT Protect.  Told caller that as soon as the conversation ended I would put the number shown by dialing 1471 on my "send to junk voice mail" list.  Didn't get to the end of any conversation as the caller hung up.  Dialed 1572 at once and added 001-237-8911 to my "Blocked" list.  This is a very good service from BT and I recommend it.  It is free.

I have just looked at other posts, and my caller claimed to be JIM SMITH too.  I agree, what a prat....
