they call you and tell they are microsoft partners, I told them I dont believe that, they talk more or less techy, but as I wanted to konw details, there weren't any.
Claimed to have my number from my Microsoft registration; unfortunately my phone number is more recent than my computer so can't have specified it then (and I haven't given any phone number, really).

Received a call from 011607594464 - said they were Microsoft and that they had received reports that w had a virus on the computer (ok which? we have six) spoke to mother in law so she said when we got back we would ring them and then hung up ;)

Phone call from this "Bandit" did not answer, I have a check list of these "Stupid opportunist Thiefs",. Rule 1 do not answer them if you do it tells them the line is open & available,. Rule 2, if your caught "Off-guard" get a "Hurricane" Whistle (Approx £1) and Blow it down the line, with a bit of luck they may be operating a "boom mics",.
