0020001  hatte  heute  auch  einen  Anruf  unter  dieser  Nummer .  Bin  aber  nicht  ran  gegangen .  Bei  uns  wurde  versucht  einzubrechen .  Möglicherweise  will  man  uns  ausspionieren .

Die  Nummer  soll  aus  Slowenien  stammen ,  wie  andere  Foren  berichten .

Habe  den  Vorfall  der  zuständigen  Polizei  gemeldet .

They called me as well in Switzerland - but they hang up when I picked up the phone with my Swiss German "Grüüezi".

Reçu quelques appelle, depuis .... mais je n'ai pas pris. Ils arête pas de essayer. alors attention.

Same here, a guy with some Indian accent tried to explain that I have some problem with my windows. I let him talk for a while and asked him if he can tell me what operating system runs on my computer. his answer was windows, I asked which one? he said windows 7. At this point I told him that I use Linux on my computer for many years so it was a nice try. Also told him that if I will get one more call from them I will take legal action against them. At this point the line was "accidentally"disconnected.

i got the same call from 0020001 today. There was an indian accented english speaking woman on the phone. She told me something about suspicious software I'd use on my Windows-Computer. As my mobile was ringing, I told her, that i'll fix it and canceled the call.
Ich hatte heute denselben Anruf von 0020001. Eine Frau mit indischem Englisch war dran. Sie erklaerte mir, ich wuerde fragwuerdige Software betreiben. Da in diesem Moment mein Handy klingelte, erklaerte ich, dass ich mich darum kuemmern werde und legte auf.

I got a message from this number about 12.35pm today saying that they were from Windows in London and they wanted me to open my computer and they said that they would point out a problem with it and if I didn't, then my computer would not work. I asked where they were phoning from and the woman said  4412536978.I thought that this was not a correct number as London (UK) is 0044 STD code. She sounded as if she was Chinese and I asked her the name of the firm that she worked for and she said and spelt out; IASSISTS.I said that I did not believe her and put the phone down.

 I did get a call like this saying that they were from Windows a few months ago and he sounded African and got really annoyed with me because again I did not believe him and he slammed the phone down on me.That was a number starting 002 also.

I forgot to say that I am in the Republic of Ireland.

This no. 0020001 called my landline several times . I did not recognise the no.so I did not answer

Same here in switzerland! I am going to report them to the police!

didn't answer their call today, but checked the number on google. Heard a discussion about people like them on the radio short while ago. Apparently of one believes them they ask one to enter all sorts of codes that will give them access to your computer AND ask you for a consultation fee to be paid to them as well.

Hatte gerade denselben Anruf. Und da mich die Thematik Social Engineering sehr interessiert habe ich mal ein bisschen zugehört. Als es mir zu bunt wurde, habe ich einfach gemeint "oh, i don't use windows, i'm using Linux". Irgendwie hatte die Dame dann keine Lust mehr mit mir zu sprechen. So hackt man eben heutzutage den Menschen und nicht mehr die Maschine. Der Virenscanner hat dafür kaum mehr was zu tun...

I keep getting calls from these people in and off . My partner tells them the computer is in the doctor wirh virus lol they get very confused and hang up its hilarious.

- alle  unter Namen "PC BANDE". Erste Anruf kam vor ca. 1 Jahr schlechte englisch mit indische Akzent. Ich wusste aber Bescheid - Microsoft wird niemals und niemanden anrufen. Ich melde es trotzdem der Polizei und Tel. Gesellschaft.
Als ich von diesen Nr wieder Anrufe bekam - halte ich eine Pfeife parat  - ich pfeife ganz stark ohne ein Wort zu sagen ins Telefon (Ohr). Die riefen nicht mehr an.
Heute kam Anruf von 0020001. Ich wusste - solche komische Nr. gibt es nur bei Hacker. Leider hat er oder sie sofort aufgelegt als ich mich meldete, ich habe dann sofort mein PC abgeschaltet. Später suche ich diese Nr im Internet. Falls sie nochmals versucht - ich halte Pfeife parat.
