Just received a call from 0024051982 with a very poor telephone line connection.

The lady caller had a strong Asian accent and told me she was from Microsoft, and that my computer had been infected with a Virus and she would help me by talking me through a procedure of how to get rid of it. Highly suspicious!

I told her I didn't have a computer and she hung up.

I had the same, but she said she was from Talk Talk.
As soon as I mentioned I was a certified Cisco and Microsoft Engineer she hung up!

Scam!

Just had the same, said she was from TalkTalk. She said a Windows computer was infected, I asked which one as we have three laptops/PCs not all running the same version. She hung up. Most rude!

Still keep getting the same calls from what sounds to be the same woman saying she is from Microsoft - usually Mondays & Tuesdays around 1pm.

Tried to block the number (I'm with TalkTalk) but when I try, it doesn't seem to recognise the number.  I phoned TalkTalk and they don't seem to be able to block the number either and keep saying something must be missing like an area/country code (?).  This is the only number that comes up 0024051982.

Very annoying
