    Cold caller, silence until automated 'goodbye' played and the line is cut off. We are registered with the Telephone Preference Service, these people should not be calling!

    Like Ellie we are registered with Telephone Preference Service but doesn't stop us getting these calls constantly, am sick of it and think there should be some way of having them stopped. Our elderly neighbour gets them too and as she's 93 it takes her a while to get to the phone only to be met with silence- a disgrace!!!
