Unserious company calling from UK. The guys are selling company profile, advertisement. They put a lots of pressure. It's a not the usual serious business way. They are really obstinate and are trying different phone numbers within the company.

I'd like to know which kind of company called us today, because the line wasn't ok.

Got a call today (we are a company in Austria) - she said it's regarding a meeting she is finalizing....  we'll see..

A mrs. Steel called from a company she called 'Public Service', urgently requesting to speak to two of our managers of whom she knew the full names and functions. She demanded the mobile phone nrs. of both persons, not giving the reason for her request straight away. Upon further enquiry she mentioned that both persons were asked to attend a meeting in Brussels and she urgently needed a confirmation of attendance and also necessary information on financial budgets in order to finalize the meeting.
Be warned not to give mobile phone nrs.

Got a phone call from this number about a weird thing - UNESCO - excellence centre - I would have to pay a certain sum to get my institute advertised somewhere...

I was urged by this guy from 'Public Service' in Aberdeen to write an editorial on ecosystem management within 14 days as my name and scientific scills had been recommended on high political level nationally and in Brussels. If I could not agree to this fantastic opportynity he would have to publish adverts instead and thereby get into problems with his boss.

Today a guy ,called Martin Wyke, called us. He asked for one of our colleagues, who is in charge of some of our projects, which are showed at our website. He put a lot of pressure to be put through to him. But nobody from the project knows him.

He said he belongs to the company "science omega" but that was not true. After we quit to answer his calls he tried it with a different number, but unfortunately I forgot to write it down.

Thanks to this website I was able to find out what kind of company it is.

Today I received a call in Switzerland from Mr Gold from megadot.com. He was very unfriendly and wanted the mobile number of my boss.

Don't call them back, don't give any numbers to them. They are slippery.

William ....?  from Science omega.com Edinburgh asked for the Director. He was Finalising the UK & European Governments IT research within the department...... Couldn't email as their was an embargo. Important matter. Co-ordination of the Science Omega review. need to phone back - urgent! Couldn't email as he was in a video conference etc....

Got a call from William Brass, same line of talk, time pressure and in a conference needing to go to a talk ugently, looking for director's name and contacts. He could not access the internet as he was in a conference. Clearly this tech company holds their conferences in ill equipped hotels or offices.

Hi. I work in a university in Dublin and we have been receiving calls from this number too. Josh Willey rings looking for individuals in the department. He tells our administrator that it's urgent and when our administrator suggests sending an e-mail, Josh says he isn't near his computer. They are very persistent. They want to sell advertising.

Terrible sounding sales man trying to sell me some omega 3 oil. No idea what he was talking about. He sounded stressed. Probably not making money, and has kids to feed. Should have maybe thought of that before he started selling omega 3 fish oil

This company has called already serveral times claiming to work on behalf of the European Commission regarding some "Advance Control Systems". They are trying to get all sort of information regarding the management of our company. Hung up on me after I told her that I am not giving out any names.
