They have rung 5 times now Asian guy but I just hang up

Asian woman says my router is insecure  and they will rectify problem. Another scam so hung up.

Asian guy, said he was from BT, and that my router was insecure.

He asked me to turn on pc, so he can access it to fix problem.

Told him what he could do.

I'm fed up with silent calls from this number. Is there any way to stop them , or even better, get them prosecuted?.

Asian guy called himself Alex Bush.  Kept him on the line for 5 mins complaining to him that BT had not installed my (fictitious) optic fibre connection.  He kept asking me to start up my PC.  In the end he gave up.

Just called me,woman with Asian accent called Hazel.Told her she was a con,she then hung up.

We bought a BT8500 Advanced Call Blocker Cordless Home Phone a year ago, and have not been bothered by any nuisance calls since. The phone doesn't even bother ringing if it knows it is blocked. You can set the phones to ask callers to announce themselves initially, but callers like this don't usually even do that.
