rang at 8.58am no message left, seems a strange number this?

Yep, another 9a.m. call, no message, does seem strange number. Never answer these.

I had a call from this number today a lady said she was called maria sounded foreign apparently she works for a company called techline. She said my computer was sending out error messages to their service station which was the reason for the call.

Computer is working fine this number is Mexico dialing code said good bye and put the phone down.

Scam. Don't tell them anything.

My cell phone rang with this wacky # today 527 dash 448 dash 40 THATS EIGHT # s so right off the bat I know NOT to answer  its 99.% a scam or bad news on the other end  - meaning not a person who would know SO like all the others  just ignore and DO NOT answer !!!!

this number rang my phone but when I answered it there was no one there, sick of nuisance calls

I received a call (again) from 527-448-40. The following is what was said:
Me: Agent Wilson.
Caller: This is David (mumbles last name) an I am calling about your computer sending out virus's.
Me: Sir, this is the Federal Bureau of Investigation, how may I help you?
Caller: (after a short pause) May I speak with your supervisor?
Me: Sir, I am the supervisor.
Caller: Your computers are sending out virus's....
Me: Sir, you don't seem to realize who you are calling. This is the F.B.I., Cyber Scam Division and you are calling about our computers?
Caller: ummmmmmmm (then promptly hangs up).

This number called me at 3.20pm saying that there is a problem with my windows computer. For starters how do they know there is as problem and secondly I have a MAC laptop.
Sounds like a scam to me. There should be a way to shut these idiots down. People who deal with virus systems get into them and hack the hell out of em...

I put this number on my block list.  It calls me several times a day everyday.

On my cell phone I simply went to the call log, Found this number, At top right corner hit select place a check and choose Reject, You will see a missed call light indicator when they call but you won't get disturbed again.

They CALL me 5-10 x a day  HARASS me all week and do not let up!!!  HORRIBLE
they call with a 646 area code  then with a 309  and  then with a 410  then NO area code
Its a robo call and  I reported them WHY CAN NO ONE HELP ME ?

and you cannot redial them

This number called my house phone today, but as the number isn't on my contacts list, the Call Guardian wont ring my phone. This household gets peace from these parasites, so I don't care how often they call - my phone wont ring.

The only calls we receive are genuine. suggest to one and all, if you have the means, buy a call blocking phone. If using mobile, make sure your provider offers this facility at user-end (mobile users need the same protection).

Number now blocked and caller unknown.

Foreign accent asking to speak to the home owner about the computer saying they technical support. I didn't understand where they were calling from. Her manner was very nasty when I questioned them and I hung up. I was very suspicious of this call.

My 83 year old mum has started getting these calls - today at 3pm, before usually at this sort of time. I'm getting one of those call blocker phones as suggested.

This no rings my elderly parents 5-10 times a day asking them to turn on their computer as it is about to crash. Caller got very nasty when my brother answered and refused to turn on the laptop and said he had a Kalashnikov AK47 and would come to the house and wipe us all out! Is there anyone we can report this no to to stop these calls? In meantime have blocked the no.

Had 2 calls form a  indian woman called Julie. (Yeah right) say's there's a problem with my computer. I informed her she was a fraud and a liar. But kept on telling me to turn on my laptop.  I said it was on. She said what does it say. I said it says the person on my phone was a liar. And to tell her to crawl back under the rock to which she came from.  Funny enough. She hung up. They are fraudsters.

Called at 16:29 from this number - female with Indian accent, with american twang (Hollywood influence?  ) Same old 'Microsoft Scam '; computer sending error messages but I am able fix it for you - AYE, RIGHT!!  Mrs Rob had the pleasure this time - led the [***] a merry dance round the keyboard for nearly 5 minutes  - 'LOOK at your keyboard, Stupid Lady!' (hardly the way to soften up a Mark!! )  'WHAT can you see on screen'? - Mrs R replied 'a nice picture'  - Scammer eventually told Mrs R to eff-off, to which my wife wished her a nice day too.  Exact same script as on 'Watchdog' a couple of nights ago - probably can't get the BBC in Bombay!   BTW,  Why does this site not offer 'SCAM' as Call Type'?

This number called today. Caller was a foreign sounding woman claiming to be from the Help department about a Microsoft computer. I did not listen to any more hung up and blocked the number. These people are parasites!!

rang twice this week but my husband answered just said i haven't got time & hung up
they both claimed to be microsoft
