This was a really strange call it was a recorded message but unnerved me slightly

I got a call from this number today asking for me by name, and wanted me to confirm my postcode.  I asked who she was, and what the call was about.  An Indian lady called Susan (very hard to believe that this was her real name) said she wanted to ask me some questions and for me to give my opinion.  I told her to send me the company's details in the post so I could invoice them for my time.  She kept telling me she had no money and only wanted to ask for my opinion.  When I informed her that I charge £25 per minute and she had already clocked a bill up of £200 she hung up (I was a bit upset because I am now £200 out of pocket lol)

I've been called this number a few times they say they're from UK Market Trends and they are conducting a survey on behalf of leading UK companies.

Called while I was out & didn't leave a message. Sales call from overseas?

Called me today. Had great pleasure in blocking the number.

These idiots called me and jammed up my landline! I was sitting by the phone waiting for a call from the hospital regarding a relative who'd been taken in by paramedics.  I quickly answered when it rang and there was no-one there, just an echo of my own voice and the number 0075848509 on the caller display.  I couldn't clear the call and finally had to go through to my provider to get it unblocked.  I missed the call from the doctor who got the engaged tone rather than my ansaphone.

Very annoying and upset we didn't need.  I wont tell you what I'd like to do to them..

Overseas call centre- possible scam.

I came to this site to find out what other people know of this number, 0075848509, from which I received a call about five minutes ago.  When I answered, there was a pause, then a single syllable of sound, then the call disconnected. Based on other people's comments, I guess that this was a random-dialling operation, with each person monitoring many lines. I must have been the one (or one of the several) that got disconnected because somebody else answered a split second sooner.  
I receive a lot (a LOT) of these and similar calls. This is the fourth today, but better than the other three, all of which were "number withheld".

Got a call from this number again (not the first time). When I asked if they had ever heard of the TPS they hung up. Male caller, Asian accent, would place him around India or Pakistan.

Rang me to do a survey despite being registered with the TPS.Complained through www.ico.org.uk/complaints/marketing

The keep calling my mother who is nearly 90, she is petrified that its someone who wants to burgle her home. The scum making these calls don't care about the alarm and distress they cause.
