    Called me three times today - asked them why they calling me - they wouldn't answer until they identified me - which I obviously refused to do - I told them not to call this number again - and they did which earned them some pretty foul abuse - but hey it made me feel good

    I got a call from this number. I called it back (minus the 1st zero) and got an answering service fro a company called Domestic General Services. They are a marketing company working for BskyB. If you dont want to receive anymore calls then they advise you to call 0800 083 2432.

    They are ringing several times a day at the moment. They finally got through to me today. kept me on hold for over three minnutes. On asking to speak to a manager or some one in charge i got told that that wasnt possible. asked him for his name and he gave me a blatantly false name. he got really cocky and aggressive and asked what my problem was. told him about keeping me on hold, about being able to hear him and his colleagues for ages and asked to speak to some one in charge again.... the guy hung up on me. Who on earth are these clowns?!

    Same story, I have complained to SKY about this and would suggest anyone else subject to these pointless calls does the same.  Maybe if enough complaints are made, something might be done about it!

    I answered then I heard rustling in the back ground but no answer then they put the phone down after the second time I said Hello

    I think these calls are computer generated and that is why you don't always hear someone at the end of the line.If you pick up your phone then you will more than likely get someone to talk with you.If you dial 1471 it will give you the number of the caller but if you dial that number you will get a BT message that the number dialed has not been recognised.I complained to BT but they told me that they could not help because it was an international number.They put me in touch with the telephone preferential service and I got no further with them so who do you turn to under these circumstances??

    Don't be fooled into thinking these clowns have anything to do with Sky. It's like the phone companies who cold call you saying they're calling 'on behalf of' your network. They're separate companies milking customer databases to make a profit. Sky have said their marketing calls all come from 08442 numbers, so this is not an internal call! Steer well clear!

    The best way to deal with these morons is to complain to Ofcom. They will happily prosecute companies that flout the silent call laws. You should not have to call the company concerned to me removed, they should filter against TPS and they don't.
