- Brad replies to GreedyHi all,
after "pre-investing" to a NYSE listed company I was asked to sell those share with a huge win, IF at the same time buying further shares (>20tUSD) of a gold mining company (Guizo Mining) in China (via office in Hong Kong). I consulted with the Japanese Authorities (FSA) with a very good service and with following comments:
1. Dai-ichi Securities does not physically operate in Japan and does not really exist in Japan.
2. Dai-ichi Securities has not been registered with FSA Japan.
3. We have received similar inquiries about the broker from other investors. We will put the warning notice on our website concerning Dai-ichi Securities to send out the alert message to the potential invests.
http://www.fsa.go.jp/en/refer/cold/index.html
Unfortunately, due to the non-existence of the broker in Japan, what we can do is very limited. We, however, will report this case to the local police office immediately, and we will contact you again if there are any additional findings that we can share with you.
Moreover, we also request you to report this to the authorities where the investee bank located as well. - pagemanhallo,
auch ich habe das Dai ichi-Problem.... bin über Vernetzung und Infos dankbar. Gern per mail, dann können wir Kontaktdaten tauschen: page_man@web.de - pageman replies to Infopixel| 34 repliesHallo,

Viele Grüße - WilliamvanBilthoven replies to pageman| 32 repliesI am from Germany. Also invested in Guihzou mining through Dai-ichi-securities. Unfortunately up to ca. 50.000 euro so far. They are still asking for more investment to "complete a institutional trade sale" I have bought some time in order to "find the money" and let them call me on a regular basis. In the meantime I have done some due diligence and found out through a friend in Japan that their office does not exist on the given address. This is a most likely a scam!
The traders seem quite knowledgable and are convincing through the phone. The ones I dealt with so far are "david lucas", "peter marsh" and "jason hackett" and also "tom daniels" from the account department. All of them are english with a London accent, but I guess these names are false as well.
I am currently trying to build a dossier and am still wondering where to best report this scam.
All victims should come together and jointly try to retrieve some money, or at least try to find the guys behind it. maybe we start a site: screwedbydaiichi.org or similar? Contact me in case you need more info. My e-mail: wilvanbil103@yahoo.com - Pietro replies to WilliamvanBilthovenI am also from Germany and it is exactly the same situation and the same names.
Until now I didn't know that it is scam. - HUNTER 57Sorry Pietro, sorry William!
Your money is lost!!! That is sure!
I know about 20 people which are victims of them!
Everyone has the same story -
Not one has got this deal back from Guizhou Mining (which shares don't exist!)
All 20 are pressed for new money - and so on!
I do not know one person which has got a real deal with new shares or
one cent back to his account.......
That's it!
Good luck to anyone!- Caller: DAI-ICHI-SECURITIES
- Belgian man replies to pagemanHi,
I'm also in the same situation. I did not invest that much, but today they asked me to sell my lvs stocks and buy much more of something else.
We really have to stop these guys !
Regards. - Brad replies to WilliamvanBilthoven| 27 repliesHi all,
they seem to have the same pattern - I was also contacted first by James Carter, then by a lady Lisa Gregory and finally David Lucas, who claimed to be the "head investor". James and David were very convincing indeed. I'd also place them somewhere in the UK due to their accent (Lisa Gregory had a very american accent though). However the Japanese Authorities told that they might be somewhere in South-East Asia, which is propably very typical to these guys and these are not their real names....
I contacted per e-mail both the Bank and the local Authorites (as suggested by the Japanese Authorities) in Mauritius but no luck yet - below both e-mail addresses:
fscmauritius@intnet.mu
customercare@standardbank.mu
The bank where I transfered my money had following details:
Beneficiary Name: HSF Holdings Ltd.
Beneficiary Account Number: 01-220-520211-01
Bank Name: Standard Bank (Mauritius) Limited
Bank Address: Medine Mews, 6th Floor,La Chaussee Street,Port Louis, Mauritius
SWIFT: SBICMUMU
IBAN: MU25SBIC2201012252021101
Yep - let's continue exchanging information and work togther to get these guys,ok.
