EMS calls on behalf of Talk Talk

Got numerous calls from 008452960036...when I answer they hang up

have phoned a couple of times,but they dont speak just hang up

This number calls you and on answering it automatically rings anoterh number on bahlaf of Talk Talk, I just cut of as you are obviously paying for the call

I Have an exdirectory phone number, am on the telephone preference service & have still had calls from this number every week day for 2 weeks- no one is ever there & its always at about 5.45pm

Had 2 calls from this number today , both times they hung up as soon as i answered....who the heck are they....very annoying as we have a thing on our phone where cold callers are banned!!!!!!!!

these people wont leave me alone!
they ring when we arent here, when we try to ring back there is never any answer or its not possible to connect the call.
and we are ex directory and dont give our number to everyone!

Like others I have received a couple of calls from this number and as soon as we answer the call is terminated.

Had a call from this number, no one at the other end. Heard sounds like a call cantre in the background. I hung up to do 1471, but they did not clear the line for about 1 minute. Very annoying.
My number is ex-directory.

Does anyone buy from cold-callers? They must be mad as they support and encourage this sort of activity. If it didn't pay they wouldn't do it.

Called from Talk Talk trying to speak to the bill payer.

Iam fed up with talk talk ringing me especially when Iam waiting for a cal from my daughter.Iam with AOL and have talk talk anyway.Idon't need them to keep 'phoning me at  all times.

i am sick ofthis 3 times aday everyday they call me and hang up as soon as i answer and its really gettingannoying aswhen eva i answer a phone call my internet loses its connection

Rings and hangs up when answerphone cuts in. I ring back but they don't answer, don't know who they are but very annoying

they called me while i was at friends there offer seemed to good to be true for just £8 a mounth they could get me money off just about anything for just about any lesiure activity including 60% of gym as well as the other benifts tried to look up there website given by the operator www.lesuire.com but does not exist ran a number search was not supprised it was here

getting a few calls from this every day and getting annoying now also, suprised its not just me as i just happened to type this in google.

Been having the same numerous calls, would pick up then the line would go dead. Once I picked up and then I heard a ringing tone as if I had rung the number and then an answer service picked up saying I had missed a call, but they would call me back.  The worrying think is I have an all inclusive phone package where I don't pay for landline calls apart from 0845 numbers, so in effect as the line seemed to ring them back I think I will be charged for the call and they get some of that money!! Beware of this and if you hear a ringing tone when you answer I would just hang up.  They managed to get through to me today and as above it was a company called Jigsaw Ltd claiming they could save me money on Local restaurants, cinema, wine, dvd & cd purchases and would give me £40 of fuel vouchers all for just £2 a week! Remember this is then £8 a month or £96 a year, just said smaller so it sounds smaller(typical sales technique, I often ask 'so how much is that a second cos that will sound even better!!).  When I asked them what local restaurants were included they got hazy!!  I told them I was part of the telephone preference services and they told me that some numbers always slipped through and every so often I should renew my membership.  They may be genuine, but they are going about it the wrong way if they are buy annoying people to the point of anger before they even speak to them.  Just beware, I normally ask for information to be posted to me and if it is genuine that should not be a problem but I slipped up and forgot so not sure what would have been the response.
