Got a call from this number this afternoon but the line went dead when I answered. A Google search reveals that international numbers using the code +999 (00999) are ''reserved for future global service''. It would seem that ''the future'' has arrived.

We can add 00999924 to the list of bogus calls. No doubt a scam, but I did not pick up the phone so cannot find out what it is.
