A man called me using this number and said he was from SARS but I did not buy his story and i hung up.

Got a call from 0100030062 he said he is calling from SARS his Abdul which i think he is BS i drop the call

Got a call from this number ,it is fraud,they say that they are from SARS.

yesterday i received a call from this number. A person called Adriana told me she was fro SARS.she asked for my address. I asked what address she had she said that it was a security question and i had to give her the answer. when i refused she said i should check with my SARs office. SARS help line knew nothingh about it. i have two missed calls from that number today.

i received yesterday, just before 5pm , call from the same number 0100030062
woman by name Salomi(sounds like my maid) , told me i need to pay about R167 000.00 in. and
asked for my I.D.,  when I told her -  i will ask my accountant to call you , she gave me this number 0102088206
very funny, just  music playing and electronic voice   with  SARS website.

I have had 4 missed calls from 0100030062 already today, but as I don't answer numbers I don't know, I googled the number to see who is looking for me and found this site!! Next time I'll answer so I can hear what this schemster has to say! I must say, they certainly are persistant.

It's SARS Collections Department. Confirmed it. No scam. Not fraudulent. This is the department that has to collect outstanding tax debts if you have not paid. They do ask you your ID number and address to verify that they are speaking to the right taxpayer (most people don't remember their tax ref number offhand). Once they confirm that you are the taxpayer they are looking for (and not the wrong number), they will discuss your tax issue with you. Make sure you also ask them for a case number for the call.

Eish, these guys don't mess around. They seem nice on the phone and can be very helpful in trying to find a solution. But if you not willing to work with them, wanna talk rubbish about corruption and refuse to pay, they will mark you as non-compliant.

Don't stress, you won't have to do anything after that. They will attach your assets if you have any and owe big money. Or they can access your personal bank accounts and take out the money without your permission. They are the government.

Don't try to cry about debt counselling and being bankrupt. All that makes no difference to them. And their system is constantly tracking you wherever you move even if you don't tell SARS about change of address.

I answered their call today, only to find that it is in fact legit.... it is the company which I work for whose PAYE tax is outstanding, and I am listed as the "responsible person" on the payroll .................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is SARS and is legit... I speak from experience....

i GOT A CALL FROM NOMPILO SAID SHE WAS LOOKING FOR IMELDA MPIKASHE AND CALLING FROM SARS, I THINK THEY ARE TARGERTING PEOPLE WHO OWES SARS TO GET THEIR PERSONAL PARTICULARS, PLEASE BE AWARE.....

Got a call on the 09/10/2013. They say they are SARS but we can't call them back and they are asking about outstanding funds where nothing was outstanding. This is a Scam.

Hi guys I got a call from mike pretending he works for SARS please do not give ur details its a scam ..stay away !!!!!

I received a call from the 0100030062 at 5pm. A coloured lady who identified herself as Venessa Olifants, she said she is calling me from SARS Megawatt Park in Sunninghill, she wanted me to make an appointment to see her regarding my SARS income tax. When I requested her phone number she gave me the number which 0102083233. Please be aware.

I also got a number from SARS who asked for my confirmation of address. I also asked what details they have on file and confirmed it to be correct.The question is do they do with this information and is it just a means to authenticate their calls to follow....

Got a call from this number from a Mev van Niekerk. left me a voice mail. when I checked my call list there was not even a number in it. saying I owe them R81000 personal tax? phoned her number 0102088044 and song playing then electronic voice recording and then leave a 30sec voice mail. Phoned my accountant and all good on their side? then u read about it some people say scam and others say its legit? what to believe? ??

i got a call from Purity saying she from sars and is updating the system ask about adress ,is this number from sars

This is nonsense, its not SARS
They phone my cellphone, it rings twice, I am just stretching out my hand to pick it up and it stops ringing.
Then my landline rings, yup exactly twice. I am not yet out my chair and it stops ringing.
Five minutes later my cell rings again, same process, then my landline again, same process.
Now if they really wanted to speak to me that would give me a chance to answer.

If it is SARS then they have some prize [***] working there, but I dont believe its SARS

The people who say its legit are pulling your chain, they are the [***] who are perpetrating this scam.

I think they want you to phone back and it generates revenue somehow
