    get calls from this number daily wanting me to take out a secured loan.Been nice,been rude,lied,but the the calls keep coming

    Had calls from this number at least 10-15 times a day, most of which i ignore but when i have answered it's just silent or they put the phone down! Finally had enough yesterday & gave them obscene abuse down the line, just saw red when caller display showed them calling yet AGAIN!!!!!!

    Am registered with TPS but recently been getting about 2 calls a day from these people. Phone always cuts off when I answer, can usually hear the sound of a call centre when I answer. Keep leaving blank messages on ansaphone too. No idea who these people are. Anyone know so I can complain??

    just got call from this number today asking the owner of the phone. I donno who they are. But one thing is for certain, I don't trust them.

    We have had 3 calls from this number today in Milton Keynes. When you pick up the phone all you can hear is music. I didn't answer the last time after I read somewhere else (not 100% sure ir this totally correct though) That it is an automated machine that rings, and if you answer, it then passes this on to the cold calling companies giving times of when you are in and answer ? Makes sense but unsure how true this is.

    Had a few missed calls from this number, seems to happen every couple of hours. I answered it today & it was from a company offering to help clear debt problems. Although the guy said it was not a sales call he was basically trying to take out an IVA. He didn't seem to have much of an idea what he was talking about & his understanding of english was very poor.

    Finally: a definative answer to the mysterious 01111 number. I never answer it. Caller never leaves a message. BT should take its responsibility to its paying customers seriously and transfer this call to line that responds with a high decible, ear shattering scream. Guarantee these calls from semi-illiterate,  parasitical morons in India, Pakistan et cetera would soon stop... but don't hold yer breath; BT are probadly making too much money from these cold calls... sigh!

    I've been getting this call every day now for about 2 weeks.  It's strange because a week before this call started I was getting a call from 08445811015 every day.  I am now getting the 08445811015 calling me around 4 times a day and the 01111 calling me once a day now.  

    I am with TPS and the BT tele marketer prevention thing..., so I'm surprised I'm getting these calls.  The worrying thing is that people have said the callers claim they are selling insurance, is this a coincidence?  

    I've made complaints about the other number and will try to make time to complain about this one.  However, Ofcom says they won't do anything unless there are enough complaints.

    I receive two or three calls a day from Asian people, asking if I have anyone else's money on my debit or credit card. I have asked them to delete my number from their files but to no avail. I am ex-directory so how did they manage to get it in the first place? This must be yet another scam and, quite frankly, I am getting really fed up with it.

    I've just filledin an online complaint form with Ofcom after receiving 3 or more calls a day from these people. Just received this response....

    had a few calls from 01111. they dont say anything and then hang up. we  had the telemarketing thing months ago and all other calls stopped. thisa started a few weeks ago (march 08) and it is EXTREMELY ANNOYING!!

    8 calls over the last 3 days all with the same callerID. The last call rang out and when I picked up a moron with little grasp of English asked to speak to a person unknown to me.  When I said he had the wrong number he slammed the phone down.  So I complained to BT 151 and was told they had no knowledge of the source and suggested I Google 01111, hence I am here. Surely in the 21st century it is not beyond the wit of BTs technical team to trace and stop the calls which are obviously contravening their own protocols. Maybe they should use the services of CSI Newyork who can trace a call in 10 seconds and stop them within the hour before the programme ends.

    receiving calls from this number about 10 times a day only started a few days ago but its daily.

    I did fill out an on line survey form and wonder if its linked ??? just deleted my details from the on-line surveys but they take upto 10 days to remove.

    they don't leave a message and when you answer they hang up. Pointless.

    Same as the others and more.Fed up now.Can`t even answer my landline now.Can it be stopped or do i have to change my number?

    Over the space of a week we had over 80 calls from this number, complained to virgin media who could do nothing, complained toofcom who suggested I go to the police cos it is harrassment!  Seems to have eased off a bit now though still get a couple of calls now and then.

    Every day several times a day. I ignore it but we recently applied for a loan with Yes and the calls started coming after that.

    This number has phoned about 14 times in the last 2 weeks, have told them at start of this Week not to phone anymore as We are not interested, a few swear words were used by Me but to no avail as Today they have started to phone again. Brilliant invention "caller display" as now I will ignore the calls.

    This number has phoned several times ove rthe passed few monthe.  It seems to be from an asian call centre and selling financial services I do not want.  They have hung up on me when I have said that I want to speak to the supervisor.

    My god how annoying is this.  I'm glad that it's not just me being plagued by this damn number. I guess it started sometime within the last 6 months a I receive betwenn 2 and 5 calls a day from it.  I concur with the majority of you that it sounds like an asian call centre.  I've told them countless times that I am not interested and have even resorted to shouting and swearing at them!!!!!! Now when I see the number on my display, I either ignore it or answer it and give them a few choice words in my very own form of English!!!!! I can't see an end to it.  Somebody's got to help us!!!!!
