I was told I had a pension rebate of £1000 and to press 5. I did not do it and put the phone down.

I received a call from 0113100149, they left a message saying I was due a pension rebate, asking me to press 5. I know I am not due a rebate so I assume this is scam.

said that i had £1000 due to me in 5 weeks. pension scam.

I had a call from this same no but as there are lots of scams around I put the phone down. if it is legitimate they will contact me by post, so would advise everyone to do the same because if you press the buttons as advised in the automated call you could be running up a big phone bill.My husband is a civil servant so he knows that if there was a problem with his pension they contact via hr department.
