Report a phone call from 01132523070 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- jim| 4 replieshad a couple of missed calls from this number = 01132523070. random times of day. does anyone know who/what this is?
- SybilI had a call from them too and did not answer. I managed to find the company on Goggle once by simply searching the number, but when I repeated the search Google came up with less helpful info....
I did manage to ascertain from the first search that it was a company ( named something like PCS - I am guessing 'Personal Career Services ?' ) who would help candidates find the right career . I am also guessing that this would come at a price, and is not unrelated to my putting my cv on a new job site today ....- Caller: PCS ?

- paul| 2 repliesI have had loads of calls from these lot, including text from fax.co.uk. They are very persistent and annoying... They want a face to face interview for "free" when they will claim to have loads of unadvertised jobs and you should change your CV for a fee..... No thanks.
- Caller: PCS
- KarenThey have rang everyday for a few weeks. I answered once & they said they saw my husband's impressive CV & it is urgent that he makes an appointment with their Manager. IT is a scam.
They are like Life Coaches but WORK Coaches and are preying on those seeking a job.
For a price, a big price, they can help you with interview skills, your CV, etc.
Tell them they have the wrong number. ps: if you keep ignoring, they will ring at least twice a day.- Caller: PCS

- JDBunch of shyters - claim to provide CV advice, but there is a huge price whammy. Pure vultures.

- AJG1Thanks for the advice. I too am seeking work. Just got a text - which is always suspect, But there is a law which says that they cannot approach someone (tout their business) we have to call them, which is why they get us to call them. Clever. Thanks again for posting

- John Pollard| 2 repliesI've been receiving calls/email from Personal Career Solutions since responding to an on line job ad through exec2exec. I just ignore them.
These both appear to be trading names of UK Apollo Group Ltd, 1 Church Court, Church Way, Leeds, LS27 9TN which advertises a contact number of 0844 8806690.

I used to get emails from PCs and now they have resorted to texting. They are a total waste of time and space.- Call type: Text message
- Teddington Wolves replies to JEJust got this one as well. I had just updated my profile on Linked in so I'd imagine they have got my number that way.
- ch| 1 replyHey, i just received from them this message: 'Having seen your CV our Senior Consultant would like to meet you this week. To arrange this please call me, Lisa Harris, on 0113 2523070. Thank you'
thank you guys for posting your valuable information, good to know they are scum!!!- Call type: Text message
- RL replies to chSame here, getting repeated text messages from them after signing up to a CV distribution service. If they are that interested in me, I'm sure Lisa or her "Senior Consultant" will call in person .... :-)
- Jason PHad the same text today. Met with them about 5 years ago and soon figured out that it's all BS. If you want truly free CV feedback and advice, join a networking group, get to know some people in the right professions and ask them. Much better advice and there's usually a drink/lunch/breakfast involved!

- Veronica MorrisonI have received an unsolicited text message asking me to call this number, apparently because "their senior consultant has reviewed my CV and wants to meet with me early next week." Only gives a person's name to ask for - suspect this is more of a sales call than a true interest and job offer.
- Caller: Unknown
- LHGot the same message today. Instantly thought it was strange that a recruiter would text first rather than call so went on web to check and saw that it's bogus. At least they didn't have a message asking to text back the word STOP to stop receiving the texts, which they could also profit on and actually never stop the texting. Hope they fly back to the vulture nest! Thanks for the advice - thank god for the web!

- Wise Job Hunter| 3 repliesI have my C.V. out on the internet and these idiots managed to get hold of my mobile number from that and sent me this text message today:
"Having seen your CV our Senior Consultant would like to meet you on Monday. To arrange this please call me, Lisa Harris, on 0113 2523070. Thank You"
Basically this is a broken company based in Leeds who are so desperate for some sort of business that they will even resort to sending out emails to people who have no interest in their services. I am based in London and the fools expect me to travel to Leeds to see their pathetic "senior consultant"? Maybe he/she should get off his/her fat backside and come and see me in London instead as I am not stupid enough to waste my time and money in travelling to Leeds.
Basically if you do go to their dingy offices, they will sit you down, make you fill out loads of forms, photocopy your passport and then tell you the bad news - you need to pay them something like £100 or so for them to find you a job and to advise you on how to find a job. In the process they will offer you a CV writing service for another £75 - the CV will be written by one of their so called "experts".
Here is one of their many websites:

If you are silly enough to visit them make sure you leave your wallet behind cos they will empty it faster than you can shout: CON ARTISTS

- robinsj3SCAM SCAM SCAM BEWARE...
I was emailed by these con artists by Paul Murphy and then received a call from Jaime Sherwell. It all seemed quite feasible, although I was suspicious as to where they found my CV. They portrayed themselves as a recruitment company, although it all seemed a little vague. It was only be googling the number, after sensing something was not quite right that I discovered the truth - essentially they meet with unsuspecting job seekers and having reviewed your CV and prospects convince you to part with £100 for their expert advice in finding you work, and a further £75.00 to review your CV.
There are plenty of reputable companies who can provide this service, and do so openly, not by preying on unsuspecting and often vulnerable job seekers with the promising of helping you, with no mention of the charge.
I didn't meet with them, and frankly if you have any sense, neither should you.- Caller: UK Apollo Group Ltd

- chithecynicA rather angry Mr Murphy, having been sent the link to this site by me (in response to his initial e-mail) responds:
-------
Dear XXX,
I can absolutely assure you that I am NOT a con artist, and that what you have sent in by way of research is utter drivel written by someone who has no understanding of what we as a company do.
However, I will of course unsubscribe you from our services.
Kind Regards
Paul

Interesting...- Caller: PCS
- Chris GBeware......PCS are also using 0113 205 2853 in the guise of Jaime Sherwell.
Same old con......they want to arrange a meeting with their "Senior Consultant".
The game is that if you attend the meeting in their temporarily shared office (rented by the hour), they spend an hour telling you your CV is rubbish, and how they could improve it, for a fee.
They will also want to get you to sign up for career counselling sessions at much bigger fees.
When you ask how many sessions ? you get a vague answer. After a lot of digging, you discover it could stretch to £ 1,500 - £ 2,000 worth.
Is this a "no success, no fee" service ? NO, ABSOLUTELY NOT.
Is there a guarantee of a job at the end of it, to re-coup the money spent with PCS ? NO, ABSOLUTELY NOT.
What they are offering is probably not illegal. It is certainly morally questionable, and definitely a con.
Avoid.- Caller: PCS
