The message left from a machine on my answer machine was 'press two'!!

They called me and I rang back and got their number not recognised message. Does anyone know who they are?

I just had this number call me it's a new one from the other ppi that call any ideas anyone

It is British gas customer feed back. You usually get it if you have recently been in contact with them for any reason.

it's not british gas. it's spam and you should ignore. the number isn't recognised when you call it back and british gas don't have it in their own 'did we call you' page of numbers.

i hate these bloomin spammers!

is there anyway we can stop these calls 6 different numbers called me today sick and tired of it don't they have a life

This number continued to call me, eventually I answered and it turned out to be Brittosh Gas chasing payment from an unpaid bill. Fortunately I had paid bill and stated the fact they should update their systems and check before calling. Typical computer error as always and really fed up with this type of call.

British Gas customer service ? Well there is'nt any , thats a joke before we go any further !!!!

They called me too! Im sooo glad i didnt pay, he was quiet rude and intimidating. He also had an accent, he was getting all hot an bothered when i said i will make full enquiries and call him back. Best thing to do is say i will call you back. then they know they cant fool you !!

This number is people trying to con money from people.. Its nothing to do with British gas.. Don't be fooled.. We hadn't lived in a house for four months and so not named on the utilities anymore and they stilled tried to scam money from us

I shall not be answering or calling them back even if it is British Gas.  I had to smile as our village isn't even on mains gas!!!! Perhaps British Gas should call them as request they stop harassing people.

British Gas here is this .........you have over paid your bill hold on need to check something ...then they hang up ...called them back ....no number.

Just had a call off this number they said they were British Gas and asked for my husband I said he was not at home and asked if I could help. He wanted payment for a bill we hadn't received, would not tell me the amount and said to tell my husband they would phone back. I rang the number back but had a BT message saying the number had not been recognised.

I've had an automated message from this number on my home phone every day this week, everytime the automated voice says it is british gas and to press 2, on one of the messages it said calling about a smart metre before the machine cut it off. I already have a smart metre, it's just getting to be harrassment now, filling my machine with rubbish so messages from real people can't be left!

British Gas chasing a bill payment.

Just got call, didnt answer, Strange as no 1 has got this number, Its a back up phone, cheap contract on top of my other contract, Normally switched of but been on for nearly a week and its only phone call I got, Only way any 1 has got this number is if VODAFONE sold it to theses pests, Cannot trust no one now days, Not even u mobile provider

Don't pick up and answer it's a call from scum bags and con artists. Do as I do let it ring.
