The second evening call from someone claiming to represent British Gas (the first one didn't show a number).
Both callers asked me (Miss H, on my own mobile number) for my father (Mr H). It's about a discount, they said.
I had informed British Gas of my father's death two months previously, and made arrangements to take over the household gas account.
Presumably they consider dying amounts to defecting to an alternative energy supplier?
Bit damned insensitive, though.
