Welcome Finance are the culprits here. They will ignore human rights and violate privacy and harrass you illegally. They don't listed to you when you tell them you are not the person they are after and have no connection with them.

When will the weak authorities take companies like this to task. Close them down.

Been pestering me for weeks too! I just hang up on them. Very strange as call my mobile, and I dont register that number!

...........tried to sell me some insurance as I am "A valued Debenhams store card customer"..................

and wouldn't listen when I told them I was not interested.

I've been called three times so far - 08/09, 15/09, 16/09 - I refuse to speak to them. I have absolutely no interest in unsolicited calls and cannot help but feel that this is the kind of company that one hopes goes to the wall in a recession.

they tried to tell me they were calling from my bank and that they had a new product they wanted to talk to me about - called me 4 times in 24 hours

just called me - claiming to be from my Bank. Pitched into security questions which i declined to answer. BE WARY.

Had 8 calls from this number in the last 48 hours - haven't answered any of them, but they are not giving up.

they are repeatedly calling,
picked up once.
was told they were calling from "the bank"....
i asked which bank..... they didnt answer.
and then they asked for my date of birth,
i declined (obviously) and hung up.
you can just hear strange noises in the background, they are in some apartment somewhere... TOTALLY FRAUDULANT.

Had a call from these a week ago and asked my partner to answer it. They told her they were from my bank (and actually named the correct bank) with information about a new product but she told them I wasn't here.

Just had another missed call from them so will be sure to give them a piece of my mind if they try again.

These people don't give up - even if you don't answer their calls - it's been going on for over a month now!!

Had a call from this number earlier today, they hung up as I answered it. So googled the number and found this page. So when the same number called again a few minutes ago pretending to be my bank I was a touch annoyed. I aksed what the call was regarding and they said it was a courtisy call. So I told them I'd quite happy call my bank in my own time to talk about things and didn't appreciate cold calls. They then hung up!!

I've had something like 13 missed calls from this number in the last 2 weeks. They never left a message so I didn't consider it important but thought I'd google it anyway and luckily I found this web page - cheers!

Been getting missed calls daily. Searched the number, thanks for advice. I did decide to answer today to try and stop calls. He claimed to be from Natwest but was asking odd security questions, like only wanting the first 2 digits of my DOB.
I questioned him, saying that I’d read it was a dodgy number. He wasn’t very good at lying, "I promise this is a call from Natwest... blah blah" since when do banks say that. He said he had a special offer that I couldn’t get from the branch - yeah yeah. Told him wasn’t interested, he was quite insistent. Hopefully they'll leave me alone now.

This number has been calling me for three weeks.
They phoned saying they were from natwest and that they had a product they wanted to tell me about.. but first i had to tell them the year i was born! obviously i realised straight away that it was a fraudulent call. I told the guy where to go. he kept trying to sound professional but it was obvious it was a scam.
I thought that would be it.. but the number is still calling multiple times a day.
I picked up again today.. a girl said the same thing they guy had.. this time i decided to wind them up a bit. i kept telling them the wrong year i was born and the girl was getting really frustrated. then i told her i knew they were fraudulent. she kept telling me they were associated with natwest and even gave me a web address to check. which was www.avon-insurance.co.uk I don't know if they actually are associated with this company but i checked who owned the domain anyway...

she eventually hung up on me when i started telling her she was a criminal and that she should get a proper job. i also told her i'd reported the number to Natwest and they were taking it up with the police.
Natwest however didn't seem to know how to deal with this problem.. and were very unhelpful.

PLEASE CALL NAT WEST and report this number to them.. maybe the more people that report it themore likely something will be done.

I really want to know how they got my number.. i'm very protective over my personal details.

The most obvious possibility is that workers within Natwest are illegally copying data.

but the strange thing is that i have only started receiving these kind of calls since i've got my new phone contract.

out of interest is the only thing all of us have in common that we all bank with natwest or do you all have contract with 02 or taken your phone contract out through carphone warehouse?

i really want to find out where the breach is coming from!

I have received a call from this number around 8 times in the last 13 days. I have recently joined the natwest advantage gold scheme, where you pay £12 a month and get a number of benefits. One of these is phone insurance. Could this possibly be a call related to that OR is it some kind of scam. I haven't picked up a call yet and they just keep trying

Used to get calls regularly until my phone contract ran out I changed to Pay as you go and had no more calls. I think they are getting numbers illegally from contract phone providers.
There are regulations in place with regard illegal trading and harrassment plus they are quoting company product associations which are simply lies i.e. Nat West products. The individual cannot do much but the regulatory bodies can so why does Nat West not pass this number onto their legal department? Incidentally if you ring them back your phone bill will go through the roof!

My mum has been recieving calls from this number claiming to be from "Phone4U" which after reading the above/below comments I now know as fraudulent, unfortunately, I called this number (With "141") and left a message asking them not to call up again.

As this is a local Birmingham number, the man who spoke to me had a local Birmingham accent.

I will be reporting this number to the police.

I have been receiving these calls for the past month and a half, I have yet to answer one of them. I bank with Natwest, have an O2 mobile phone contract and benefit from the natwest advantage gold scheme.... I did not get these calls before I joined the scheme?!

They called me with a silence call. Can't wait for them to call back. Have some healthy verbal abuse ready for them. If you work for them, don't be surprised when people who don't want to hear from you are very rude.
