i got a card through my door saying:

Congratulations
This number has drawn one of the gifts donated by local businesses total value of gifts exceeds £32.500

Anyone else had this??? sounds like complete [***] to me who the [***] are these people if i catch some [***] putting crap like this thru my door in the future then beware [***]!

Same card came through

Today I recieved same card. Stuff em, I'm not going to ring them. Has to be a scam. To the recyle bin it goes.

Not a telephone call, but a junk mail;  arrived 19.5.08;  same figure £32,500 as reported above;  "with the compliments of Matters Consulting Ltd/Survey UK, Victoria House, 1 Gloucester Rd, Cheltenham, GL51 8LN";   British Telecom (http://www.thephonebook.bt.com) don't know about them.

Got the same card through today, i just thought id check here see if anyone else got them and to maybe find out who they are.

I got the same card through today, didn't have my name on the envelope though just Ms/Mrs.

Probably some driveway or double glazing company offering you a 'prize' of vouchers if you have work done.

That was quick, do a search on google for the number and it brings up pages from moneysavingexpert.com (fantastic site).  Seems 1 person called the number and their prize was half price gold membership to a local gym, so it's not a 'free' gift.

yep its a gym me and my pal got one the same day 3 year membership at ten quid a month

same card ,same guff on it,won't even bother ringing the scammers.

Got a card this morning, guessing that you lot have all done your homework, I won't bother wasting the cost of the phone call.

Just got one through the post today too (in Sheffield), with exactly the same note as everyone else. Not bothering to call.

Dont think i'll bother calling, after what previous msgs have said - its a scam !!!!!

Received one in the post today, from Matters Consulting Ltd, Survey UK 1 Gloucester Road, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, it was going in the bin anyway ;o)

Got one today,also had one 2-3 yrs ago, Gym membership was the prize but you had to pay each time you visited to cover admin costs, SCAM, SCAM,SCAM.
Bin it! Dont give them the satisfaction of ringing them, they are a bunch of timewasters!!

Received slip from Survey UK (Matters Consulting Ltd Survey UK Victoria House 1 Gloucester Road Cheltenham Gloucestershire GL51 8LN) suggesting I have won at least £32,500 and Im to call 01242 695001 with reference ABA 9764 which expires 4 Sep 2008 and my gift is 1 out of 29 local gifts.  Obviously a Scam.
