My fiance received a missed call from this number and when he called it back he was told he was due a rebate of PPI payments which he shouldn't have needed to make. When asked what insurance this was on they said mobile phone, they asked him for his bank details which he refused and asked them to call him back later. The caller said he was from Greenacre in Blackpool and from looking here it is a scam which has been ongoing for a few weeks!!

I received a call from this number claiming i was due a refund of £59.99 for overpayment of payment protection (that i dont have) when asked for further information the female caller hung up the phone!! BE careful and dont give details

Got call from this who said something I didn't understand and they hung up...

Got a call from this numer asking for Credit Card details to refund £59.99 for last 6 month overpaid card protection.

they called me during school but i didnt pick up but i remeber somthing like this happening to me before and they said i was getting money back from game and they needed my details... i couldnt hear them that well so i hung up

I received a call from these people today with similar details to the other posts asking me for my bank details which I refused to give and the girl called me 'chick' and asked to call back with them! Can't believe these people!!

when i called them back several times, they hung up everytime!

Same MO as before.  wants card numbers.  nasty when wont give.  Added to block number list.  Only got this number on Sat -had to change my number due to prank calls.  Will I have to change again?

Just called Co and asked how they get numbers.  Apparently they enter the first 5 digits of a number into a dialler (eg 07950) and the computer generates the rest.  if it rings its logged as a legit no and added to the call lists.  The company help people reclaim mis0sold PPI.  Seems VERY ropey to me!

I just had a missed call from this number, phoned back and they wouldn't really give me any infor on what they wanted. Be careful

I've also just received a missed call from these jokers (Tues 15th Dec at 1250). Obviously, having seen this, I won't need to call back.

Has anyone on the the above list of recipients reported this to the police yet? ... Being a landline number, it should be very easy for them to trace.

Just got call Dec 15th 2009 12:45 and fortunately had phone on silent so didn't pick up. I've only just got a new Orange phone and got it online so I wonder if someone is selling the new numbers from there?

Same again [***] called my mobile and when I answered they hung up, thought it could be work or something important so tried to call back and after a few short rings was left waiting with a rather odd automated msg which simply said 'sorry we are busy and your call will be answered shortly' but after nearly five minutes still nothing I hung up and searched the no. on google, and won't be wasting another second on these thieves

Got the call today at 12:30. Thanks for all this, won't be calling back.

Just got a missed call from this number. Googled and got on here, thanks peeps.. Also on ORANGE. Wonder if there is a pattern.

My wife just got a call on her mobile, won't send claim pack out without you giving them account details over the phone.Very Very strange wouldn't touch them with a bargepole Funny thing is Brad said i would now not get a refund but call back if you change your mind!!
