As an update, since i made a call to their office i have not had any further calls. Also I am T-Mobile and when i checked with them there are no excessive bills so i am confident its not a money scam.

Anyway, "new people", take the time to read through each comment made as the answers to stop this are within this webpage.

The person that signed them up to UK Survey, thats very clever I shall remember that for future use.

4-5 times per day now, even on night shift.

This is really pissing me off. 5 phone calls a day for 3 weeks. I picked up the first time and they hung up. About an hour later i checked how many minutes i had left and i had an additional charge of £3.50. It wasn't there before so it must have been them. The worst thing is that they keep calling me in the middle of college which is seriously annoying my classmates.

Did a little research about this comapany online, after they rudely called me at work and also at home on my mobile.

they are basically a "member" of the 3 group.  Here is their spiel in their Company Overview on the GM group website: "Originally established as a contact centre selling mobile communications for UK’s fastest growing network Three, the GM Group has quickly developed within the industry by becoming the number one dealer for its distributor, achieving a quality status by becoming a selected member of the Three networks trusted Q-Club"

So that's where they got your number.  If the telephone prefrence service cannot block them, then you either ask them to remove you from their database, or contact your mobile phone/landline service provider to get them to stop these calls coming through in the future.  Their deals are rubbish anyway.

The same has just happened to me. Is everyone here from Blackburn? I work in Blackburn and received the call and the dodgy music when I phoned back

23rd June @ 4.20pm. They asked me to confirm my mobile number,my full name and postcode! IDIOTS!!!

They called and all I heard was a lot of noise in the background no-one said anything directly to me it just sounded like there was a party in the background and then they hung up. Will not be answering it again!

i used to work for gm connect i hated every min of it i only stayed there through my training and about 4 days. the reason you only get music when u call back is because them phones are only designed to call outbound like any other call centre also they do work with phone companys but word of warning dont be a prick with people on phone they will just annoy you day after day.

also for data protection reasons all companys would have to ask you to confirm your details idiot

by the way gm connect is only open 10am till 7pm sorry to dissapoint

I've spoken to 3 and they can remove you from their sale calls, but not GM Group. They gave me the number for the GM Group, 08700 621 255 (option 7). Just state that you'd like to be removed from their database. Woman on the phone was nice enough, lets see if this puts an end to the 4 phone calls a day :)

I suppose I should feel glad that I am not the only one these jokers keep ringing!They called me twice yesterday. I did not answer. Tried to call back today but as per all the other comments all I got was music??

Bunch of iddots been called countless times over the last few weeks @ 1st thought it was work realted and never answer after a few missed calls and no messgae on my answering machine knew it was a dialler on tele sales. All these diallers cannot leave message on your answer machine. So if a numbr keeps calling and no message it left that your answer!!

All you have to do to really to get a rid of it is to ring on 01254 693392 and ask them to take off you phone number from their list , i just did that and all done !!

I've been getting these irritating calls too,i've just rang the above number and they said they would remove my number from their list

these guys phoned me 35 times in a week, now thanks to this site I know who thry are & have had my number taken off the records, They seem to buy the numbers from the Carphone Warehouse!!
