I've had about 8 calls off them today and they've been miss calling me for a few days now. I usually don't answer, tried to answer now and they just hung up. Idiots. Anyone on 3? I had a similar problem with another number last year.

I called the council

they said if you receive a call from this number its because u owe money in tax from the new financial year.

go to the GM Connect website (http://gmconnect.co.uk/gmltd/main.html) click on "Had a miss call form us" on the bottom right, i have done this and followed their own instructions on how to get yourself off their list.  I spoke to an agent and asked them to remove me from their list, and the person said that he will make sure that this happens.

Time will tell..

it calls every few days if u answer there is nothing if u call it back it plays music down the phone

these guys called me this afternoon, i worked for Carphone warehouse and these calls increased...something odd going on there!!! i now work for orange and am hoping these calls will stop once my records are no longer with carphone!!

Well, I have been really stupid.  I have an existing contract with 3 that I am aware is nearing its end.  Well, these people called me this Saturday and basically told me (without actually saying the words) that they are 3 and I can have an upgrade.  I sorted out a new phone with them, went right through the process and (like a twat) even gave them my bank details.  The phone arrived this morning (Tuesday) and it's not even the correct model that the deal was made out for.  (shows how crap they are)  There was also a leaflet in the bag that said "GM Connect".  Alarm bells started ringing.  I called 3 and asked if I had recently been contacted by themselves, they said no.  At this point, I knew I had been shafted.  I called GM connect on the number supplied on their leaflet (08700621255), got through to the complaints department and had a few harsh words with them.  I told them I had been deliberately mislead by their sales team and I'm right pissed off about it.  The guy on the other end promised me that misrepresentation to achieve sales is not something they would do, and if this activity has occured in their office, it will be seriously dealt with (like....yeah, right).  Anyway, I can't list everyting that we spoke about, but be warned, they have their words all worked out, and their staff well trained to say the right things and not to offer information they don't have to.  I'm going to send the phone back right away and spread as much sh*t about this deplorable company as is humanly possible.  If you get called by these people, hang up and get your number removed from their database, they are just low-life, good for nothing, misleading, lying cowboy scammers with no more right to breathe air than the bacteria on a rancid piece of festering mule turd.

Just had yet another call from them (they've been calling me twice a day on average but just silence when I pick up).  This time there was actually someone on the line.  The call went:
"Hi Stephen Booth speaking."
"Hi, I'm XXXXXXX with GM connect."
"Yes, I've heard of your company.  Are you aware that you're calling a number that's registered with the Telephone Preference Service?"
"We're a supplier of mobile"
(interrupting)"Are you aware that you're calling a number that's registered with the Telephone Preference Service and you're probably breaking the law?" (actually I don't know if it's a law or just industry code of practice they're breaking)
"We supply mobile"
(interrupting) "Could I speak to your supervisor or the call centre manager please?"
"" (Silence)
"Could I speak to your supervisor or the call centre manager please?"

Another call today I have answered once but they hung up rang back once but got that silly music, have rang my mobile 3 provider to get number blocked but they say they can't do it )probably can't be a***d,e-mailed them telling them if they dont remove my number or continue to ring I will be calling the police for anyone who wants e-mail address it's info@gmconnectltd.org..they are a pitiful company based in blackburn

I have received on average x5 calls per day every day for the last 2wks from this number (01254277054) and also from (01254278016) both happen to be the same company. Upon answering they hang up, however I eventually managed to speak to someone who told me they were a constant call centre. After telling this person that I'd like all my details removed from their database and that if they called again I would report them for breach of the data protection act as well as grounds of harrassment they hang up. I will now wait to find out if they have taken any notice!

Had a call from the other number (ending in 016) today, answered but hung up...i wanna talk to em...see what they say when i tell em i work for the company they supposedly represent!!! Also just a note for yvonne.....there isnt a barring service within any network...your best bet is to register with TPS

All i can say is that this works.  I have not had a call from them since that conversation with their agent.  This being from 10+ missed calls a day to zero.

this number phones me like 5 times a day and has done for the past week, i picked up at first but they just hung up so now i just let it ring but they wont go away, i tried to phone them but i just got this weird answer machine tune thing. :|
