Had a call from this number today - person on other end sounded like they were in a call centre and from accent would say they were Indian. Asked for me using my first name as my surname! When I asked what they wanted they reverted to their "mother tongue" to speak to someone in the background, then hung up...

2 calls, yesterday and the day before, both claiming to be talktalk & said our internet was slow. Asian sounding males on both occasions. They couldn't confirm who the account holder was and they hung up.

Phoned  me at 7.58 in the morning. It turned out to be a scam phone call.

I had a call yesterday morning and a quick glance at the number it looks ok.  Claimed to be Talk Talk, Indian accent and approach very similar to talk talk.  Asked for me by Mrs and a good attempt at my surname.  Said my computer had been downloading viruses and was it switched on with me near it, they would help me clear it!  I told them to go away but sounded convincing.

Take a second glance.    The number is one digit short of a genuine number.
