Report a phone call from 01273743574 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- PhilI recieved a phone cal from this number on my land line and then 30 seconds after on my mobile. I wouldn't confirm all the details they wanted until they coud confirm that they were from lloyds. I phoned Lloyds and they confirmed that number is theirs. If you are overdrawn or owe money to them then this is the number that they will phone you on.
- Caller: Lloydstsb
- markwho are they? And why are they calling me?
- Caller: no idea
- JamesI just got a call from this number. They asked my name and when I confirmed I was cut off. How professional. The caller did not state he was from lloysdtsb.
- christineThey are lloyds tsb but as they are a collections dept they go under the name BLS collections.I recieve regular letters from them at brighton address and have been making payments to them for the last 8 yrs,and yes they only phone me when i am late with a payment.I think the call centre may actually be in india because although if you do 1471 and get the brighton no.they tell you to call back on 0845 600 3238 which goes to india.
- Caller: lloyds tsb/bls collections
- ShadI just got a call from these - tried asking ME questions to confirm who I was. You just bloody phoned me, how do I know who YOU are?!? Refused to give details and hung up on them..
Are they legit? Half the people on here say they have spoken to LTSB and they say it's not them, and the other half say it is.
I have a TSB credit card, but I've just checked my online banking and my payment has gone out fine so I'm not overdue.. - SteveIt IS definitely LTSB. I have a multiple calls the last few months, and a few of them have been british persons, who were happy to allow me to verify who they were with phone numbers and speaking to my branch. They were also very polite and understood everything I had to say, and were as helpful as they could possibly be.
The indi's however, I refuse to speak to them. It's not really their fault, but they have no clue what Im trying to say most of the time, and it is nigh on impossible to communicate with them. They also get very flustered when you request evidence they are who they claim to be. usually they just say "ooooh....eeeerrr.....I'll just carry on with the call then you will know I'm telling the truth". Nuh uh, sorry, not doing it. I tend to be very snotty with the indi's, I tell them now that I won't speak to them and that I will instead go into my branch.
Which in truth is pointless as the branches don't usually help out with CC problems.
If any of you ARE having CC problems. I recommend calling the number given on your statement. for some reason, every time I've called it, I've always had a british person talking to me, and I have got things sorted.
I wouldn't hold my breath in hopes of LTSB being very leniant if youare having money problems. I went to them before I lost my job to tell them I was going to be out of work and struggle to meet all my repayments, and they refused to even listen to me. I was refused access to an account or branhc manager, and told in no uncertain terms that they couldn't do anything for me. Even with my loan, which allows you a loan holiday for times like this, they said I couldn't use it. I was told that because I was out of work, I was not allowed the loan holiday. Idiots.
Sorry about the tangent.
Anyway. Definitely LTSB. But don't bother talking to them when they call because 1)They're hopeless, can't understand you, 2)They won't help you if you're having problems.
I told them to go f**k themselves and that I'd start paying them when I was ready.
Still get calls, but not a single letter. - SteffThey said they would put a hold on calls, but they lied, they said they had not recieved info from Citizens Advice, but they lied, so now I'm going to get some money beck from them at: www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/credit-card-charges.
Then I can start hastling them.
Lloyds tsb do nothing to help you, just make you more in bedt.- Caller: Lloyds tsb
- TannaHave received calls at about 10.30 PM during week days and some on Sunday evenings. Each time I try and return the phone call, the number 01273 743 574 is constantly engaged.
- PeterHad these muppets from Llyyds TSB phone my work today demanding to speak to me. When the receptionist told them I was out of the office until tomorrow morning, they told her that I had missed a payment and they wanted the cash off me now. Is this legal for them to do that? Is this not a private matter between them and myself? I am raging at them!
- Caller: Lloyds TSB
- FranThese people keep calling me continually during working hours on my mobile which is a nightmare. I know it is due to my credit card being late with payment, I have now sorted paid it and they are still calling me. Argh. I dont know why they bother, if people havent paid theyre card its usually cos they cant or havent got around to it, i thought banks liked interest?

- LisaHi everyone. ive been getting calls from this number for a good few months now, and i dont answer it.
they ring about 6 times a day every other day.
i assumed it was lloyds, i have an account there. but after reading all these, now im not so sure.
i reckon its hackers.
my computer was recently hacked, and i was told my personal info had been verified. ive had malicious software and restoring trojan horses and everything. i thought my computer was going to crash completey. but luckily got it fixed.
i know theres a rogue spyware ( malicious software) 'Antivirus 2008' and it uses 'firewall' symbols so it looks legit, but its not.. and theres various others.
Has anyone else computer recently been hacked and info stolen?
I reckon its hackers, couldnt get out credit card numbers from paypal..or something and they are scamming us this way, ringing us for the rest of out info they couldnt steal the first time.
just a thought.- Caller: ?
- Fred1976Was called on this number by a pakistani guy claiming to be from lloyds tsb. i did'nt answer so i had a message on my phone. there was no clarity to the message and also the usual lloyds tsb message to get in contact with them was crackly and sounded like a bad recording. If you try to call the number back you get a discontinued tone.. as if the number did not exsist.. I got money issues so i think it is genuinly lloyds tsb.. but you never know..
P.S sorry about the bad grammer- Caller: LLoyds TSB ???

im getting fed up with it- Caller: "llyods tsb" fake scam call
- MuttsWe are Ex Directory and we know the bank does not have this tel number.
Usual thing Claiming to be Lloyds and an account.
I work in Debt Recovery and my wife who took the call knows how to handle these calls.
Firstly do not give them any thing. Advise that you need their tel number and that you will call them back once you have spoken to the branch. If its genuine then they'll say ok and allow you to do this. If not you know its a scam straight away.
Secondly try to get them to tel you why they weant to speak to you but do not give them any info in return.
Ask them to write. BUT BE CAREFUL. they will probably ask for you to confirm your address. DON'T UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
ALso watch out have had 3 fake LLoyds emails in the lat week- Caller: LLoyds TSB
- anonTSB Credit Card indian call centre who "need" you to pay as you are late with your payment. Easy to get rid of by either paying up or barring with BT but that costs you. Constant ringback. Tossers!
- Caller: TSB
- lyngot a voice mess left to call an 0845 regarding a business i had with them i didnt call the number (the guy who left the mess sounded indian)
- Caller: lloyds
- anonthis is definately lloyds tsb, just rang the 0845 3000000 no and they confirmed it. its the collections department. lloyds tsb are generally a nightmare to deal with so if your not a customer with them, i wouldnt bother
but never give your details out esp your security number - inside manI have been getting calls of this number. They are a 'outsourced' call centre that lloyds tsb use. to call customers when they are overdrawn or owe the bank money. lloyds tsb do not advertise this fact because customers would be outraged to learn that the bank gives your information to out to a 'third party'
I know this as fact because i worked at one of the call centres that was outsourced by a different bank last year. I had access to:
- your name,
- your address,
- your date of birth,
- your secret answer,
- ALL your bank numbers, eg: sort code, 11 digit account number, 16 digit card number, even the security code off the back of your card.
the only thing i didnt have access to was your pin number. but i would of had more than enough infomation apply for credit cards, bank loans etc.. basically destroy your credit rating.
i dont know what its like in this particular call centre, but in the one i worked in there was virtually no security check at all. i know this because my credit rating is really bad, and i gave them fake references to get the job. it would of been so easy to get a credit card or something in someone elses name the only thing that stopped me was the fact that i personally didnt have the nerve.
something to think about.- Caller: lloyds tsb
