i keep getting phone calls from this company, i put 1471 on then press 3 to phone it back, it says number not reconised, can anyone tell me who the number belongs too,

Received this one a few days ago, silent.
Number registered with the TPS but still they call.  Isn't there some kind of compensation available for wasting my precious time ??  TPS seem to be as reliable as ever!

What an annoyance! 7 messages with nothing but dial tone as a message! Who was this?

I also an registered with TPS. I told the guy on the phone I was registered with TPS and told him he shouldn't have called. He had tried to sell me a mobile contract.

Caller claimed to be from Bank of Scotland, asked for my wife, told him unavailable, said he needed to know her account number. He said he would call back later. He called again five mins later asking for the postcode and said that I would give him that. Told him politely to go away.

Have just come off the phone to the actual bank. This IS NOT one of their numbers.

I.D. FRAUD SUSPECTED

The number is registered in France and from what I can gather will pose to be pretty much pose as anyone in an attempt to get any kind of personal details from you to help them STEAL YOUR IDENTITY.

Do not give them anything at all. Pass the number to the company they claim to be or ask for a reference and call the company they say they are from using a number from the phone book.

Fraud department at the bank now have their details. It really is that easy for them to take EVERYTHING about you and all you have dont let them do it.

I have just had a call from this number at 02-17am what on earth are they calling for at that time of the morning?

call received 2.02 am Message was "sorry we have no agents to take your call now" American pre recorded message.  big nuisance call as husband and i both pensioners.

i got a call frommthis number at 5am!!!! most annoying!!

I have just had a call from these.  He rang first - my daughter answered an no one spoke so she hung up.  He then called again and spoke to me for about 10 minutes he said he was calling about my sky tv because a lot of people had been having problems with it - then he asked me if I had it.  I don't tell this sort of person anything but during the call he did reel off my name and address and ask me to confirm it - I didn't.  It took 10 minuntes because I wouldn't tell him anything and I kept asking him where he got my details from and why was he calling.  Then he rang me back again - the third time - and told me I wasn't eligible to live in the UK???  Extremely persistent.
