had a call from this same number and when i answered no one was there so i put the phone down.

Caller said they were from Business stream offering discount for electronic billing.

I've just took a call from this number - they've rang me everyday. They said it was scottish power wanting to do a price comparison

This number called my house phone, my house number is x directory and i have only just had it installed. They hung up as soon as I answered and then when i tried to call back it was constantly enagaged.

Thank you all for your info as I am with Orange, I will not be speaking with them from now on if they call as I now know it is not Orange calling.

had numerous calls from this number not spoken to anyone I am a new number and with Orange wifi last 2 months so it definitely isnt them,when I call the number it is constantly engaged...A scam guys

i have recently had a new landline and internet installed in my home and my provider is orange broadband,  i have been with them about 1 and a half months, i have had this number call me over and over, i have not answered it yet, but i have answered a call from orange and this number wasn't the number that called me!! it was genuinly orange telling me about 241 on pizzas and cinema!!!

they keep calling my moblie but i funnly never get to the phone on time due to my very short ring tune, if i dont know the number i never call them 8O)

i will say however that i am glad i found this site as i now know to just ignore this number

It is Orange's auto dialing system I will ask the company to attach a messaging device to catch returned calls they ought to be able to do that at least.


OFCOM suggest Telephone Preference Sevices on 0845 0700 707

but as I am an Orange customer It probably would not stop this number.

SEVERAL CALLS OVER THE LAST FEW DAYS  - who is it!!!!!!!!!!!!! on returning call - engaged?

They have just called me I missed the call as was in the garden so I 1471'd it and got this number, I have Virgin broadband and we have our home and mobile numbers TPS registered so they shouldn't be calling us anyway!

They called twice this week. I said hello then they hung up. Very annoying

Have just called these people.Asked for supervisor name and got given  Karen Coburn.The lady who answered was all apologetic and 'I don't know why you are receving these calls' etc etc.

They called today, Asking for me by name.

Said they were calling from American Express.

I do have an American Express card.... I hung up and blacklisted them.

We got the same today!

Must be a scam company...

Just got a call from this number, pretending to be American Express.  Similar to above, i do have a card with them.  

They had my name, asked me to confirm date of birth and first part of postcode.  I refused and she hung up.  

I called American Express customer services and they confirmed it was not them calling, they have offices in Leeds and Brighton not Glasgow.

I also had someone ring me today asking for me directly and claiming to be from American Express. My wife answered the phone and gave away no information, but the caller was rather rude. I have not yet used my card and have not had it long, so I am puzzled how they got my number.
