I've just had a call from this number. It was a very professional sounding & quickly spoken English woman, saying that she was calling from Vanquis Bank (I DO have a Vanquis Credit-card) about the dangers of identity-fraud. She asked for me by name. She was trying to sell me some sort of credit-checking thing in the end. Something about a brochure can be sent out to my address & a monthly cost of £6.99 I think. She said it was to do with that Experian Credit-checking site. I was totally confused to be honest, & declined the offer. But I'm now am a little worried, as I gave her my Post Code & date of birth, as she sounded/seemed genuine at the time!

Phoned  by this number two days ago at 3.56pm did not answer no message.

I registered with the TPS so I should not be getting calls from this number (out of order).  I want them not to phone my number ever again!! The number was the same as above!!

Rogue companies do not obey TPS rules and do not screen out numbers which are registered.  The only way TPS knows if companies are breaking the rules is if you report them.   It ony takes a couple of minutes and, if they get enough complaints about a particular number they will act.

This prat keeps calling & woke me up this morning! Phone is going on 'silent' tonite!

Same old crap.. gonna save this number under a long list of spam.. if its important they can write to me..

just got a call of this number. Called it back and got an automated voicemail for respondex?? any one know who this is?

They told me that they were ''Vanquis Bank'' ... They asked if it was OK to talk, I said yes, but as soon as the realised I was on a hands free they said ''It is not our policy to talk to people on a hands free phone'' and then she hung up !!!!!!

I've just received a call from this number & it is Vanquish Bank. I am a customer of their's & have a Credit Card. They were trying to sell me Discount Vouchers for £6.99 a month after a Free 30 Day Trial.

heard woman with liverpool accent talking in background - when  i said hello - phone put down.  guess they were not expectng such an early reply?  Apparently a scam company claiming to be from a credit card company.

Had a call from these people today but missed it so when I called back it says they are respondex. I wouldn't answer the call if i was you as this s def a scam!!!!!

This is not a scam at all it is a department of Vanquis selling Identity Protection and access to your credit file Via a company called CPP. Both are reputable companies and having worked in the financial industry you will find they are totally legitimate. Why you all get so heated over a marketing / sales call is beyond me !!!

rang my mobile, answered - nobody there, then rang my landline number.... didnt answer

Started having calls from this number. Don't care if they are trying to sell me something but just don't want this continuously blank calling me during the day whilst at work.

i just got a call from this number I didn't answer it my partner did but they wouldn't tell him who was calling
they said it was personal buisness just checked some personal papers of my own to see who it could have been that had called so i could call them back and its not vanquis or and one else i know.
i wont be talking to them who ever it is

this is not vanquis iv spoke to vanquis this morning just after i received the call it case it was them it is not.i also have a card with them.
dont tell them anything

if you have got a vanquish credit card, this company is members to save which is linked somehow to Vanquish, they save you money on certain things but you have a 30 day free trial.
