had this number call me now - can't be [***] picking it up.

They claim to be from Orange offering all calls and high speed internet at £5 - £10 pcm.
SCAM.

They just called claiming to be carrying out market research on the economy.  after the 2nd question asked about shopping around for various products.  ended call asking if they could call back to discuss anything we had just talked about...."No and take my details off of your list!"

I didn't answer.
When calling back it just says 'this number does not accept incoming calls'.

I just had a missed call from this number.  Has anyone else used Money Supermarket?  I seem to be getting a lot of marketing calls since I visited this website although I didn't actually buy anything.

ive had this number call several times lately, plus over the years number withheld calls  
telephone preference were of no use or any other body
so 3 years back i bought a telephone with answering machine
works great if im here and know the number i answer it
if not it gets left to go to answer machine and in 99% calls there is no message
problem solved . r.r.

it's a scam, don't hand over any details they claim to be from orange and other networks to gain you're trust and details and obtain it vodafone warned me about it and many other people basicly it's just another filthy scam to do you over in Bad times we have in bad economy

basicly any company could of handed over your details to another without your consent

Constant calls from this number that hangs up or stays silentv

It's TalkTalk. I declined their services after I had to pay a £50 connection charge but they kept phoning me back afterwards pestering me to take it.

I too received calls from this number.
They hang up when I answer.
I am annoyed with Telephone Preference Service as I am registered and still get these calls.
Would somebody please do their bloody job.

Received call today, 0148 is a Hull number....0148 + Hull + Orange + uprade into google gives you this...www.orangeupgradedeals.co.uk...DNS attack anyone?

These calls are nothing to do with The One Point!
The One Point has one outgoing number other than direct dial numbers.... The One Points main number is 01482 420150!

Please do not generalise The One Point with these telesales calls.

This number is from so called Orange network offering deals on mobile call charges and internet. Have taken call once and asked them to stop calling to no avail.

Its an automated dialling system from a call centre - I believe Talk Talk - The calls aren't deliberately silent, if you answer the phone and no operator is available to man the automatically dialled call, it presents as a silent call, releases the line after a few seconds and then reschedules the call until an operator gets you. Whence the no messages on answerphones - just answer and tell them that you're not interested and then register with the Telephone Preference Service who STOP unwanted telemarketing calls.

Keep getting calls from this number.  Pick up and nobody answers.  Very annoying especially as we are registered for TPS.
