You can block numbers from calling you off your phone. Or if you say your going to start charing them for your time your on the phone to them, that normally does the trick

Orange offering bells and whistles to my service. I never respond positively to this sort of thing without checking online first.

Calls from this number are from a company named CLEAR ANSWER. Telephone marketing company used by many seeking sales. A persistent caller and I suggest you report them to TPS.  Clear Answer,Essex House, Manor Street, Hull HU1 1YD

Had a call from this number today. Said he was from EE. Telesales know which land line package I had, so caller had access to my details. He said he could cap my package with an upgrade to £25/mth, I am only paying £21. When I said I had FREE UK CALL 24/7 he said I didn't, only Evenings and Weekends.
I asked him to call me back in 15mins. I checked my Statements and none of me UK calls are charged.
A call from EE eventually came through 90 mins later. Different caller this time. Wanted to save me money on my package but eventually agreed with me that I was already on the best one for me.
I asked if he worked for CLEAR ANSWER and he said he did.

keeps ringing, then laughing down the phone. i have tried to call them back but they hang up.

i called this number back, a recorded female voice informed me that it was ORANGE that called and they will call back!! please dont call me back!!

Got a call from them today.  Said they were from EE (Orange) and wanted to reward my loyalty so I kept listening.  Then they started to ask a whole series of questions about who supplied my landline, who supplied my broadband, so it was obviously a sales call.  I told them I didn't want to change anything.  They still kept on so I hung up on them in mid splutter.

I had a missed call from this number today. I then checked on here to see who it was and most of these comments are now very confusing as I am already with Orange for both my mobile phone and broadband. What exactly do you think they are trying to sell me?

I get unlimited calls, unlimited texts, 250gb data, landline and unlimited broadband for £36. If they want to charge me less money that is FINE with me and they can nuisance call me all they want ha ha!

I am surprised that you are all saying it is Orange, as 01482 is a HULL telephone code, Hull has its own telephone provider Kingston Communications (KC).

Yes Hull does have KC but they are ringing from EE for people around the country not for people just in Hull

called me today ,left no message and didn't want one anyway . wish we could block these idiots

I've reported them to the ICO as I am TPS registered, if enough people do then they can be fined.

I'm starting to get fed up of this number ringing. Twice I have told them I don't want to change my bb package with EE. I don't want to pay any extra money for anytime calls when I rarely use my landline. I'e phoned EE and told them they shouldn't be giving my number out to third parties and I advised them I had stressed this at the start of my contract with Orange. They've now broken that agreement so an official complaint is going to them in writing.

Phoned and asked to speak to Mr (my name). I said I would get him, but what was it about? They said they were from T-Mobile. I went off to get "him", leaving the phone off the cradle. At least this wasted their time. Would recommend this method to all who get nuisance calls.

10 calls from this number in as many days, some I answered others I did not. Silence or giggling until today -  I got a young guy who was very stroppy  (understandable really, but very rude and unprofessional) I refused to believe that he was calling from EE and he got v frustrated and told me he was TRYING TO SAVE ME MONEY!!!. When I explained my reluctance (ie 100s of these damnable calls from marketing companies) He then said 'right fine I will prove it' and started giving me characters from my password and account details. Pretty surprised at this, so surprised in fact that I do not even know whether they were correct or incorrect. He's apparently calling me back at 4.30 after I check my details but I vote for telling them to take a hike, the whole thing stinks.

received a call from(0148248974) this afternoon, on answering, no one there responding? if i am not mistaken this seems like a familiar number when checked back previously, are they nutter with nothing to do or some thing else? very frustrating and annoying.

Sick of them ringing at all times of day. They get round TPS because they never speak directly to you

Repeated attempts to speak to me on a almost daily basis. Also using 01482 489200 & 01482 971048.

It's Orange / E.E. / trying to "save" you money on your land line and broadband service.
Total waste of time trying to talk to them, they don't bother listening, I've had numerous calls from them, won't take no for an answer.
