They call me at around 2.45 each and every day - very annoying. Is there any way to stop these pests?

I got one today on my mobile whilst at work....the same company have also called me on this number 0151 7032754 to which i called back. I have relatives and friends in Wirral, so answer incase it is them calling from a different phone.

I think it is MoneySuperMarket.com. they are the only company i have used. Going to write a snotty letter to MSM.com and complain.

Its the Data Protection part of site and incudes an email address. i have just sent my email to them.

had several calls from these recently never answered it, tought id look it up on here! suprose suprise, i had an accident a few years ago!

I had the same type of call received today on my mobile. Said I could be entitled to 1500 pounds compensation for an accident I had had in last 3 years.
Told them they had wrong number and they hung up.

Had two silent calls from this number in the last two weeks

These twats called again!!!  They let call ring twice then hung up!

Just had a missed call from this number.

It is ridiculous and sheer stupidity of this people to call and not do any business.

I would not give them the time of the day if they are marketing anything or if they ask me to participate in any survey enticing people with winning prizes.

Have sent emails to Moneysupermarket Customer Services and their Data Protection Officer.

Had used their website only last night and started getting calls!!!

I am getting calls from this no. around twice a week. I'm also getting calls from 0161 249 4491.  After reading various posts regarding both numbers, I think it is safe to conclude that Moneysupermarket.com is passing our details on to to others.  I used the site in March to look for new car insurance. My network provider won't do anything about it other than to change my number, aside from that they have told me to contact the police.

Ive been getting calls from these for ages, i never answer strange numbers and always think they could leave a message if its important. Finally answered it today and they hung up.

I rang it back to tell them to stop phoning me, and they just kept asking if i have had a accident in the last 3 years.

I never swear down the phone but these guys are muppets,

I got a email back from MSM.com.....they are looking into the matter for me...BUT i still got a call today! buggers.

Just to let some of you know...You can call this company and request that they remove your number from their system. they are not allowed, under data protection act, to hold any of your details for any longer than required, so after the first call, they do not need it.

My friend advised me that the main profit and business of MSM.com is selling detials to a 3rd party based in Liverpool and one in manchester. Michelles call from 0161 confirms this.

Perhaps we should all inform the BBC Watchdog about these calls?  If they receive enough complaints they may investigate on our behalf...

Keep getting phone calls on my mobile and my home phone, when i do answer the phone, the line is silent.

just recieved another call from these guys, 3rd time now.. so happy i missed the first call and checked the number out. At the moment i keep ignoring it, but its starting to get on my nerves.

They finally caught up with me at work today after a couple of goes, I've got a scooter and drive a car. Have used moneysupermarket to get quotes too, so don't know who did it - but somebody has passed my details on, against my express wishes.

Asked what he was selling, was sheepish. Told him that I wasn't prepared to give details to third party, kept tyring to get me to confirm if I'd had an accident. Hung up on him (if he checked he'd see I've already gone down compo route via insurance company anyway - timewasting idiot).

I have had 2 calls from this number, I rang it back and they said I had an ancident a few years ago and who was at fault. I said me and they hung up. I have a contact at BT and had the number traced, from this I got an address which I then gave to my friend who works for tax office and checked what business it was. Its a scamming claims company that have had loads of complaints made against them. They charge more than what you get and the only person that wins is them. Just say you know they are in Everton Valley Liverpool and police have been notified of the calls.
