Just had a call from the Customer Advice Centre in Liverpool using 0151-515 0604 (0151515604) offering advice on claiming back money like bank charges etc.

If you get a call ask them to remove your phone number for marketing purposes.

I actually missed a call from them, so tried phoning them back, only for them not to answer.
I Googled their number, to be led here. Glad I didn't answer!

My phone was on silent so I didn't hear it ring but i saw it light up for about 30 seconds then they hung up I googled No. to be led here. Glad I didn't answer as another site said it was a scam caller too.

cold callers

Yup, this just happened to me today. I never pick up a number I don't recognise. If it's important they'll ring back and I'll pick up.

Glad other people have added notes on this, i'm just adding mine to show that this number is still actively contacting people.

Had this number ring me earlier today - never answered as I don't answer numbers I don't recognise. Google led me here! Just wanted to let others know this number is still calling people -.-

The Cistomer Advice Services just called me asking if be interested in injury claiming services only three days after being injured in an assault. I asked why they might be calling so soon after an injury and she said it was a conincidence. I told her I wasn't interested and she asked I knew someone that would be! Mercinaries.

Yep received a call today, always know its a cold caller because the phone only rings three times then it moves on to some other poor soul. Wish these companies were outlawed.

I've just had a call from these people and asked them to remove my number only to be told " sorry cant do that bye" and then they hung up

Just got called asking if I was interested in injury claiming services. I asked them instantly to remove me from their calling list. The guy says "OK, sorry for the inconvenience" and ends the call.

I got a phone call earlier tonight from this number 0151 515 0681. I missed it and was left a voicemail, when I listened it was a Liverpool accent, was a young bloke talking to his colleague about his large nipples and pubic hair!!!!? Why thank you so much 4 that! Hang up next time!

Just had them call me. Said I didnt want to claim PPI, they said nope not about that and asked me if I used public transport or drove to get about. I said neither (that threw them off script) he then muttered something about giving him a break and hung up. Muppets!

Just had a call from this 0151 515 0681 number and didn't pick up as number not recognised.  
Googled and found this comment stream.  

Won't be calling it back.  Best advice is to not answer if you don't recognise the number calling you.  If it is a genuine caller wanting to get hold of you (e.g. your bank, utility company etc.) they will invariably leave a message on your voicemail.

If you do pick up it verifies your number as active and they WILL normally sell your details on for profit!!

These cold calling spamsters are the scourge of our modern day and should be prosecuted and penalised for their actions and stripped of their assets to the value of any earnings they've made from selling on information like this. They are nothing if not persistent and should be stopped from conducting business in this way.  

I was advised to petition my MP to get something done about this type of nuisance call (especially when generated within the UK/EU) and if enough people do that; action will hopefully be taken!!

So go on, if you are fed up with these types of unwanted calls get on to your MP and push for action to be taken.  

Together we'll show them!!!!!
