Unsolicited telemarket message about debt write off, received 8/3/13 at 2.40pm They obviously ignore the law when it comes to TPS registration. Why can't they be prosecuted ?

I originate from Liverpool, Hattons is a large solicitors group based around the St.Helens area, whether these calls are anything to do with them or not is a different matter....

Well this Liverpool area 0151 909 1965 scam number is all over the web and needs to be silenced.
I had more of them ring me from 0151 909 1966 & 0151 909 1967

Got an unsolicited call from these people (no name) claiming we had opted in to debt repayment schemes. I pressed button 5, and got a load of abuse when I asked the operator to remove our number from her database: "stop wasting my time!"

"Who's wasting whose time with unsolicited calls?" I asked, but she hung up.

In case anyone (her employer?) out there can identify the operator with such bad manners, the call was made at 15:16 on 8 March. Unusually, they left a number, but not their name... 0151 909 1965

i get it all the time,i try not to,but they annoy with pushy talk,saying i must do

phoned today, didn't answer. fed up of junk calls, get at least 5 a day.

Called today at 1544. Did not answer as I don't answer numbers I do not recognise. No message left.

Got another call from this number today - same old offering to wipe debts over £10k press 5 to opt in & 9 to opt out.  Fed up; why should I have to do anything when I have not requested it or given them my details!

Recorded message saying I had opted in - NOT TRUE for debt management financial advice hung up, 2nd call this week and I'm also TPS registered have reported number to ICO via website

Called this afternoon. Apparently, I "opted in". I didn't.

Why aren't any of the rest you saying yes you are interested in lowering your debts to the live operator so you get then connected to the solicitor or whoever else commissioned you being called and can then post their details here.

The company making the calls are some dodgy law flouting scumbags who dozy Ofcom, ICO and the Police should have shut down by now given the volumes and the busyness of this thread.  However the fact that firms such as TPF Law solicitors of Manchester are using the scumbags to find new clients is truly shocking.

My elderly mum received a phone call from this number saying she was in debt.  It freaked her out and made her ill as she does not owe anyone a penny and thought someone had stolen her identity.
This has to be stopped.

Interesting this, that Staysure Ins appears at the top of this list!!  I went online to several insurance company sites for comparison, did not take up with any looked at and promptly started receiving calls from 01519091965.  Luckily I have a call minder and am just registering they are ringing frequently, however they never receive an answer.  When I start getting a number repeated I look it up and usually report it like this in the hope that all of the annoyed in the UK can stop these scams.  Here's hoping
