the reason these companies call you is because your contract is due to expire and your number is on a database of contracts which are due to end so many mobile companies employ call centres who phone numbers on the database and tell them that there contract is due to expire and would you like a "free" upgrade if you takeout a new 12-18 month contract it is annoying thats
why im on pay as you go.

My o2 contract is just about up and I've had this number ring me as well.

It 'rang' so briefly that I didn't even hear the ringtone, but I did hear it vibrate slightly because it was sitting close to me and the phone vibrates before it actually rings.

had a phone call off this number about hlf hour ago but missed it, phoned back and a man named jason answered asking me about my phone and contract, he offered me a selection of offers, when i asked him to tell me what contract and tariff i was on he told me 600mins 500 txts!!! wrong!! im on 1000txt 800mins. As soon as i old him this he couldnt wait to get off the phone. My advice do not answer or call back. hope this helps x

i got a call from this yesterday, i have also chanced my contract and again i have had issues with being over caharged by 02 - my advice dont ring it beack, call o2 direct.

This number called me today, wasted my time by staying on the phone.... but eventually worked out the company and what it does.

The company is called 'Mobile Phone Warehouse Wales Ltd.'

I believe they call random numbers, con the person into believing that their contract is about to end, and set them up with a new contact, in my case with 3. They will then set you up with a new contract, so you end up with your previous one, and a new one.

My advice is to not even answer, or pick up and tell them your contract is not about to end, do not give them your bank details, when i told them they weren't getting my bank details they lost interest and hung up!

They rang for a second.. I rang back and a guy said something, god knows what?? Weird.. Yet annoying

I just got a call from the same people about 5 mintues ago but didnt have time to answer. would make sense about the contracts. mine is up in 2 months! dont think ill be answering to them though!

Looks like its random number calling, they just did the same 1 ring to me 10 mins ago, and as i have worked in the mobile industry for 8 years, and my contract isn't up till December, then i know i wont be on any database to call, and even registering to the TPS isn't going to work as if it is random, then your number isn't going to be run through the TPS system

had a missed call as i was on lunch didnt answer... and wont do if they call back! lol

called me today at 13.50, picked it up, then was disconnected in less than a second. i'd never call these numbers back because there are loads of numbers out there that cost you a bomb to ring. waste of my phone battery it'll need charging a second or two sooner now.

Just to add that i have just had a missed call off this number - but i have been at my desk all day and i did not hear my mobile phone ring? ive noticed other people have said the same.  cant be anything important anyways.

They called me today, at 1230 but i missed the call. I also had a call yesterday from someone telling me my contract was about to end (its nowhere near!) and they'd like to offer me a new deal, the number for them was 07882613014, i wonder if its the same company.

My girlfriend just got a call from this number too, only rang for like 2 rings, maybe the welsh dont know how to make phone calls???? lmao
