Got a call from 01554784040, got 02 to check it out (as nearing the end of my contract), and they said that they had no record that the number had anything to do with any scam, etc.  They did say not to give any personal details over the phone, as its not a reputable firm and i would suggest not to ring this number back, as it may charge and/or people might get hold of contractual information.

Just recieved a missed call from this number also (a welsh mobile upgrady company ) - rang for a second so i called back to ask to be taken off their database. They refused and said they will continue to call my number - and went on to ask 'would you rather the indians called you? theyre the only other kind dumb enough to do it'
I quizzed him a little about what he was implying - and he swiftly hung up! Dont answer, and if you do - dont give them any information! Racist pricks!

Just had a call from thin number, only rang for a second then cut off. Wont bother calling back/ trying to answer in the future.

Just had a call from this number, did a quick google search and here i am! glad i didnt answer now after reading some of these replies, i will continue to ignore if they persist in calling.

Mobile Phone Warehouse apparently offering amazing new contract.....sounds good but with everything thats free they still need a 99p P&P but will need bank details!!! ut-uh!! scam if it is your upgrade or new contract then they should already have your details?? i dont know but i'd prefer to use internet or good old walk-in at store.

My 02 contract up in July, had missed calls from 01554784040, i googled it and arrived here!!!, so knowing who they are i rang them, nice lady giving me the spin of renewal and such like, so i let her ramble on and i appeared keen, i told her i wanted 1000 minutes and at least 500 texts and she was delighted, when it came to me giving her my details i told her i had already extended my contract with 02 directly, i said youve been had and i hung up, lol, nothing like wasting their time, also recommend anyone receiving bogus calls to register here http://www.tpsonline.org.uk/tps/what/ it gives a means of reporting duff and bogus calls and they take action against the perps........Stephen

called me several times and I got calls from some other funny numbers as well, 01925555601, and from +17777777777. hangs up when I take the call.

they just rang me, i didnt get chance to answer so returned their call, to which they said oh your O2 contract is due for renewal, i said no it isnt where did you get my details from and they hung up :(

i just got missed call from the same number.My phone number has only been set up since monday night(two days ago!)as i've only just gone onto an o2 contract and havent given the number to anyone apart from my wife and my boss! it can only be o2 who are either calling or who have given out my number to some rubbish company or other.The phone was direct from o2 so in my case it must be down to them..

I'm still getting these calls even though all of yours were in March, theres 2 numbers which keep calling and both phone companies but ive given in trying to answer now!

Just to let you know I got conned by this company. Took out new contract with them in march as they said my old one would soon expire. When I tried to end my old contract with 3 I was informed there was still another 6 months to run. Mob phone warehouse said "no problem we will pay for your new phone until the old one expires". Guess what,,,, I only got 2 cheques and am now in the process of doing them through consumer direct. BEWARE

I just had 2 missed calls from this number.  I called it back and it just rings out.  I googled the number and ended up here as well! What the hells this all about???

I just had the call from 01554784040 and wondered why it only rang briefly. I couldn't have answered in that time! But typed it in google search and got through to this site. I'm due an upgrade on my phone, so maybe you're right about that? I hate these calls!

I got a call from 01554784040 at 10:22am on my O2 mobile ( not sure when the O2 contract is to be renewed!) and yep, it rang only once - I didn't recognise the number so did a google search on it to find it's a mobile phone company. I have not rung back.

well somebody has called during the day time round abt 11 to 12 pm they know i'm busy in this period but they still i think its blank and there's something fishy going on.
