Some vile man was not amused when I put the phone down on him, so he called back calling me all the names under the sun, which Iam not prepared to repeat, let's just say it was disgustingly filthy. The first call was approximately an hour ago and he has continued to call at least 4 times within that hour.

Same guy repeatedly called us

PPI claims scam. The area code is Perthshire but the call originates from India. They're very active today and apparently not having much success. I had a call an hour or so ago but missed the abuse by the simple method of putting the phone to one side and wandering off for five minutes. They don't like being ignored.

Another day, another call, same number. This time a slightly different sales pitch - I took out a loan (they said) in 2005 and I was due a refund of over £900. Well, wrong and wrong.

If anyone gets past this stage and is asked to provide bank account details I strongly advise that you refuse to do so.

Just had the same call stating I took out a car loan in 2005 and I am due £800 in PPI.  Line went dead when I started to question them about which bank etc.

I had this, but they told me I had to say which bank. I didn't know, so he "suggested" Barclays so this would enable a positive answer. They could not help if I was vague, so he tried to "coach" the right answers.

Said she was calling from Financial Services in the UK! (Yeah, right, with that number). Said she had £1500 for me from a loan I'd had in 2005, kept her on the phone for fun for a while but she hung up when I asked which bank it had been with.....obviously a scam

I received a call yesterday from this number. the gentleman said that I was due a refund of approx £900 from a loan taken out in 2005.As previously mentioned he tried to prompt the bank etc. When I informed him that I had never had a loan he put the phone to one side and then a woman came on and asked if she could process the claim. I politely informed her that I had never had a loan and asked how she had obtained my personal details. She then ended the call. These people are a menace.

Just had same call, telling me I am owed 4851 in PPI repayment which will receive Tuesday as cheque being posted tomorrow. Scarily he knew my full address, kept telling me he knew for a FACT i had a loan with Barclays because he works for Barclays PPI. Told me to write down important details The loan was for 5500 from Barclays I took it out in 2005 and paid it back in 2010 and now Barclays want to pay me back my PPI and he knows for a fact I have never claimed back PPI before. He kept repeating the same info and telling me i had to confirm it back to him and he would transfer the call to his colleague who would ask me questions and I had to give the answers he gave me and i had to agree to a courier delivering paperwork tomorrow for signing. I had him hanging on for 11 minutes being very non commital with my responses saying mmm and ok mostly, but when he started to say i had to repeat back to me the bank name etc i hung up. He rang me straight back but I didn't answer. I suppose i should have told him his FACTS were all wrong, I've never banked with Barclay's, I've never had a loan from Barclays and i have already had my PPI back from own bank?!

This was a very persisent company that called me five times because I hung up after he wanted me to confirm my address to send out documents the next day. He persistently wanted information from me to confirm any details he gave to me  and like the other calls it was from a loan in 2005. I never had a loan in 2005. His acent appeared to be of Indian origin  and difficult to pick up the name of the so called company. When I asked him where he got his information from he said from the FSA! The phone keeps ringing and I will ignore it. The answer machine is on but they wont leave a message.
