Have been getting calls from this number once or twice a day for the last week.  They never leave a message.  Think its someone trying to sell me home insurance as recently used comparison site

i got the call too. could be hsbc as have been getting weird calls from them all week...all from different numbers!

Is it Norwich Union?  I am getting the calls as well and recently asked from the a quote

I got an online quote from Norwich Union on Monday and then I received a call from the above number today (wed)so probably them

I received a call from this number. Went onto voicemail but just noise for 47 secs. Received at 12.35 AM (!!!) on 30 Jan 2009. I too have just used search engine for car insurance. Coincidence?

Just got a call from this. I also got a NU quote the other day also got quotes from moneysupermarket. Probably an NU call.

I think it must be NU too. Got a quote a few days ago and have had one missed call from this number and 2 from another which, it turns out, are both NU too!! After the extortionate quote they gave me, I certainly wont be answering!!

I am getting a new car on Weds, have recently got Norwich Union's Driveaway 7 day insurance. I keep getting calls since I signed up from this number, when I try to call back it cuts me off. I defo won't be answering as they quoted me a ridiculous amount for my insurance. 'Quote me happy' yeah right!!!

I have had a few missed calls from this number, again I have also been on a comparison site.
