If you search on the internet for FINANCIAL CONNECTIONS you get a web page , all the information on it is bogus.

The tel listed on there site is 01324 620211 , it just rings out.

The info on the bottom of the page
"Financial Connections is the trading name of Independent Financial Connections Ltd which is an appointed representative of Financial Options Ltd which is regulated by the Personal Investment Authority."

This is also false information , i have spoken to the MD from Independent Financial Connections Ltd and they have no association with Finnancial Connactions.

I have done a whois lookup for the website , that gives more info  like  company reg number , passed this on to companys house and the company was disolved in 2004.

i have also passed all info on to , OFFCOM , ICSTIS , TRADING STANDARDS and the POLICE ,

The ref number i was given for OFFCOM to which they will investigate the numbers and the company was 158883631 , feel free to use this ref number if you call OFFCOM your selves

The 0845 number is registered to a company called THUS PLUS , no info yet

If any one gets any further calls try to get more details and then ring the FSA on 0845 606 1234.

The website could just be very old and not updated with correct delails, have rung the FSA but with only a telephone number to go on they cant do a lot.

Had calls from them all this week, some sickly sweet girl asking for my husband. its getting bloomin ridiculous im thinking of telling them he has died next time they ring just to see what they have to say!

i have been having calls from this number 0160645834 for about 3 months. about 3 or 4 a day even on sundays. sometimes the call are late evening around 8:30. when i answer i just hear talking in the background. i have no idea who this could be but wish they would leave me alone.

This number called me today and has in the past several times when i answer nobody is there

They called me a few times, and wanted to know when I was renewing my homeinsurance. Told them it was none of their business.
they called again a couple of hours later and I just hung up.

Is there a way of barring particular numbers coming in?

Very annoying as I am actually waiting for a very important phone call, so god help them if they do stay on the line next time! lol

Had two calls within two hours and its not the first time...

Rang twice today asking for my other half saying he had completed a survey. As soon as I start to explain he has not completed a survey and ask (politely) if they would remove his details from their calling list, they hang up...

These people have rung me all last week and again yesterday and today. Before today I havent answered when they have rang. Finally picked up the phone today after there 5th call to find that there was no-one there.

Certain suppliers do let you bar numbers from getting thru, e.g. Talk Talk with whom our telephone service is.

Hi - and like others, have received 9 phone calls since 1000 23rd june (9 in just over 24 hours!)
Just speaking to the FSA investment team.
They've given me a registered address/phone number for this company.
