This is a marketing company inviting you for an interview. It is part of a network operating a pyramid-style recruitment/sales scheme. They advertise and recruit aggressively, interviewing large numbers of people for door to door, commission-only sales. Almost everyone who applies is offered the job. Well, really there is no job, as you are required to sign a form saying you are self-employed. So there is no financial risk to the company, no matter who or how many they employ.

i thought the interview was very vigorous, i just wanted a better job and thought the gent i had the interview was very blunt, if i thought i was being offered a job then i would have gone for it but like not daft says i dont want to take a risk if there is no job involved.....i dont recommend....

I got a call from Bradford Marketing, even though I did not apply for any jobs with them. The lady said she searched my CV on CV Library and saw that I matched the role as a Marketing/Customer Service candidate. I was already aware of them which is why I would never apply for a job with them or companies similar which drives direct marketing. I have fallen into the trap once in Sheffield, when I wanted to work on marketing campaigns and be creative but once again given an interview on 'Marketing campaign' work when its direct marketing and commission based only. The interviewer was very young and arrogant, saying he's on £30k after a year and told me to 'suck it up' if I wanted to make it in the Marketing world. But im sorry, this is definitely not what I signed up for and I just wish job postings would just stop mixing descriptions up, people will find out the truth eventually!
