Keeps ringing doesn't leave a message. tried ringing back but no-one answers.

They keep calling me too, I had a car crash 2 years ago, it was someone elses fault but no1 was injured, i havnt managed to answer my phone yet when it has rang and they never answer when I call them

This company has been hounding me since I had an accident - they say they are called ULR -which I believe to be Unisured Loss Recovery.
I am getting about 5 calls per day on my mobile and home phone and because I have had an accident I would like to know who has given them my details

Another 3 calls over the last 2 days, again no answer when I ring them back. I tried ringing from a landline and they still did not answer. Why cant we find out who they are ?
surely unsolicitored calls are illegal?

had a call from this number claiming to be Court Detective. Also had a call last week asking about an accident I had in my car. I would like to know how they got my name and number.

Got a call (several in fact) from this number over the last few days.  Called the number back when at work (not on mobile) and it just rings - the ringing tone sounds like it is not a UK number.  Wish I could find some way of blocking these.

I've had call today 1st of several, both to work and mobile, that I have been able to answer. I typed the number in google and this site appeared.

Firm claims to have money set aside for me from a car accident I had in 2007.. asked company name "Action Legal" asked how they got my details said through insurance brookers...asked if they had been trying to contact me at work, Said only had mob no. however this was the name given to the person who they were put through to at my work place,(I never give the number out). told them to remove me from there data base and if I had another call I would be reporting them...

Phoned my insurance company and they have never heard of this firm before!  not good!

This number has called called me several times.  The one time I answered they asked if anyone in the house had an accident in the last few months.  My wife, not knowing better, answered in the affirmative, as she did have an accident with another vehicle a couple of months prior, and believed this was related.  I took the phone and told the guys on the other side to contact us by post if they wanted any information.  They reckoned they were from some accident legal company.  Anyway I insisted they send me their requirements by post.  They became pushy so I slammed the phone down on them.  They've been trying to call back since but I've refused to answer the call.  My gut feel is these guys try to lure unsuspecting victims into divulging their accident details and then these guys maybe try and make an accident injury claim using the victims details.  Of course the unsuspecting victim sees nothing of this money.

Just received a call from this number, did not pick up as I did not know it. I have had a car accident in the last two years, and have also recently used Money Supermarket for an insurance quote. I think that this is where they have got my details.

this keeps happening to me.they wont stop ringing at least 3 times a week despite me asking them to stop ringing and being registered with the TPS.it is getting beyond a joke.there are various different numbers the company uses but it is all the same company

I am getting calls from this no. around twice a day. I'm also getting calls from 0151 290 1678.  They never actually say anything and don't answer when I call back.  After reading various posts about both numbers, I think it is safe to conclude that Moneysupermarket.com is passing our details on to to others.  My network provider won't do anything about it other than to change my number, other than that they have told me to contact the police.

Perhaps we should all inform the BBC Watchdog about these calls?  If they receive enough complaints they may investigate on our behalf...

- Here is a tip on how to STOP these calls getting through! :

If your phone has a 'Blacklist' program, then simply put that number into this program.  Then, when the number calls next time, automatically your phone will cancel the call even before it rings.  The person who is phoning you will just hear a dead ringing tone.

You can search online to see if you can get the program for your particular make/model of phone.

Im getting about 4 x calls a day from this number, I am contacting Oftell and 02 as these are unsolicitored calls.

I am sure this is harrasment, if we can find out who the phone is registered to then we have a legal case.
Does anyone work at BT who can find out?

this no keeps calling me 10 times everyday, if u have a samsung u600 or a similar fone, add this no. to your Reject List by goin in ur relevan settings of the fone.i tried calling back this no and it belongs to Auto Direct insurance!!
they can go to h*** as i sure never gona take insurance out wiv them
