I had a missed call as well on my mobile checked the number to ring it back, guess what always engaged. who are these people does anyone know?

Just got a call, tried to reply with 141 thinking it was related to business, got no answer phone kept going dead - thanks to who calls me i will stop trying. This site has been added to favs.

I got a miss call from this number, and called them back but its said the other person has hang up¬

I received a call today from this number.

The came through my office and said they were from Energy UK Ltd and wanted to take a meter reading. The think is they had my name so the girl put them through straight away.

The office is managed so we wouldn't have a meter reading to give them so I suspect it is a con.

Just received a call from this number asking about my mobile contract and whether I was due for an upgrade. They wanted my details but I stopped after just giving them my name. I then asked why I should give them my details and they passed me over to another operator/manager and he seemed fairly informed about contracts on offer with my current operator. However he didn't know what contract I was on and what mobile I had, both things they should know. The funny thing was I phoned my network just this morning about when my contract is due for renewal so they should have known. I think this was a scam to elicit my details over the phone. I'll be checking my bank accounts with great interest for the next few weeks.

Similar - my mobile rang once and cut off - I don't understand the point in that!!

got a call from 01612738177 saying they where 3 mobile do i want free skype phone asked to give my name & d.o.b when i said NO he hung up,,    dodgy,,

Called me at 14:24 today, no message, tried to call call back no incoming calls. Very suspect. I never giveout my number online as its a business phone so how did they get it? I recon they are cold dialling all number combinations to try and rob people of their details.

Phoned claiming to be Energy UK and said my the electric meter in the house wasn't registered, they knew both my name and address?? I dont even own the house or have anything to do with the electric meter/bills?
How do these people find out your number and address???
